Dr. Todd and Dr. Smith are excellent physical therapists. If you are looking for intelligent, caring and exceptionally talented providers, this is the place. I have worked with them extensively on a serious shoulder injury and I continue to be impressed by their dedication to my maximum functioning. I highly recommend them.

Dr. Todd and his staff are amazing. I have had 2 injuries and the rehab and strength plans that were designed were incredible. Dr. Todd invests time into each of his patients and is able to truly be a partner in the process.

For many years I have been taking medication to relieve the pain I had in my lower back and right hip. The medication didn’t make me feel good and masked what was actually happening to my hip and back. I threw my back out in July and decided I was done with the medication and decided to find a physical therapist to see if they could help. Being part of the Oak Park Chamber I found Functional Health and Wellness and I couldn’t be happier. Dr. Ryan and his staff did a thorough evaluation of my condition and they recommended a solution that was personalized and holistic without all the medication. I am on the road to recovery with an exercise program, natural suppliments and lot’s of water to where I can walk again pain free! Lastly and most importantly for most of us, they handled all the insurance procedures and claims to insure I got the most out of my insurance. I would recommend FHW if you have pain, are on medication and want to get off, or have had an injury thats restricting you in anyway.

Dr. Todd is the best, most intuitive Physical Therapist I’ve ever seen. I have used him for back, shoulder, elbow and hip challenges al with wonderful results. He adjusts his treatment to my weekly needs, but still keeps on track with my doctor’s prescription. I’ve recommended Functional Health & Wellness to several of my friends who all go out of their way to thank me. His office manager, Elisabeth makes everyone feel welcome and at ease.
