This place is just amazing. We attend the gymnastic classes here which are awesome, and we just had our birthday party at the GRC.
Let me tell you that guys go above and beyond! The staff was so wonderful with the children, especially my very shy daughter. They’re so organized and always two steps ahead, planning this party was a breeze. They take cake of everything, I decorated the room and they took it from there. I was actually able to enjoy the party.
Did I mention the kiddos had a ball! So many fun things to do and the bouncy obstacle course was just awesome. Best.Birthday.Party.Ever!
Thank you GRC, you guys go the extra mile and it’s so very much appreciated!

Today was first I’ve been to GRC, even though it’s walking distance from my home. I was extremely surprised at this center. It is clean and large with a variety of exercise classes along with the gymnastics. I took a TRX class on the second floor and it was great, The instructor Anja worked with everyone and helped me because it was my first class, the class was small which is great and you do get that personal attention. I enjoyed the workout, There are cubbies for your stuff in the hall, but in the TRX room there are hooks so you can hang your bag, towel, etc. within eyeshot. Very reasonable priced for Oak Park residents too. It’s not all Gymastics.

This place is fantastic. Huge, clean, ample setting and cubbies for storing clothes and jackets, friendly staff… I love how they keep the classes fun and interesting each week with different twists on the warm ups or new and fun activities for the kids while still learning basic skills. The coaches and staff are excellent. My daughter had Coach Lee last year (who left for college) and now Coach Cuffey, both of which are EXCELLENT, fun, and skilled teachers. Also… very patient.
This is a great place for OP kids to develop their gymnastics skills and have fun!

Love the GRC. I loved the Oak Park Gymnastics program when they were in the old location on Madison, but they went over the top with the new place. It’s HUGE and can have many classes at once with no butting heads. Plenty of cubbies for shoes and coats, though it does get wet in winter. Lots of benches to watch your kid, with glass between so the noise is low. Free wifi. Big bathrooms with changing tables. They also do birthday parties.
Most importantly, my kid loves going here. Especially with Stevenson park playground next door for extra play time before or after.
