Found these guys on Unilocal.So glad I did! Air conditioner broke during August heat wave and we needed a miracle. Sean and his team were outstanding. They were timely, professional and quickly diagnosed the problem — had us cool again in minutes. Definitely recommend and will use them again.

As a local property agent for a national company, I am often contacted to deal with «disasters» in rental properties. On a Sunday, I called Philips after doing several searches for HVAC teams in Oak Park. They advised they would send out a technician in 1.5 hours and he was there in 1, called me with a diagnosis of a shorted gas valve and limit switch issue on a Goodman furnace. He advised that I did a Google search for the issue which is common to the brand, let me know the cost and in a few minutes had the tenants warm and toasty again. Will definitely use Phillips again if services are needed in Oak Park.

A week ago, I had a problem with the blower on my furnace. I tried calling House of Heat, but they weren’t able to make it out on that day. I called Phillips and they had Sean over in 20 minutes. He explained the exact problem and gave me on advice on how to prevent it from happening again.
Today, when the furnace wouldn’t start, I called again. Sean said he might be able to make it out in an hour. He was here within 15 minutes and, because it was a minor problem, didn’t charge for the service.
I will definitely be using Phillips for my heating and cooling needs from now on.

I bought an Amazon deal to have my Air Conditioner cleaned. The service tech arrived right on time (Sean) and we personable, clean and knowledgeable. Sean clearly explained every aspect of his inspection and resulting course of action. He also answered all my questions in detail. The job was done right ! I will definitely use Phillips Mechanical again.
