When I crave a burger. the kind that that is SOBADFORYOU… a trip to Jefferson’s is what I crave. You have to come here and try the Myrtle burger. Walk around the streets of Oak Ridge and mention this burger. Everyone knows you are talking about Jefferson’s. The Myrtle burger is famous for a reason cuz its so GOOD! Greasy, fatty and prepared just how you want it. You want cheddar instead? No onions? Add bacon? Whatever you want. You’ll still end up LOVINGIT. The service is friendly and they always have a SPECIAL going on. The ice cream is fine but not outstanding. I think maybe they could use a freshness ‘reboot.’ And I think the chocolate cream pie just came from the timeless but actually timed-too-late chocolate pudding on the stove. My slice had a gelatinous texture and shreddings(burnt pudding?) that didn’t appeal to me. They make a killer meringue though. Stick with the burger. You’ll love it.

Great little place to have a burger or lunch plate. They also have killer milkshakes. Only downside is that the dining area it isn’t very large and they are typically pretty busy.

If you don’t eat here for breakfast then there is something wrong with you. Like for real. Seek medical assistance. This is the coolest place in OR to have a great omelet, grits if you like them, and small-town service. These people remember my order, that’s how they roll. Go now. Eat and be happy.

Love it here! The breakfast is phenomenal. I always get French toast, bacon, grits, and hash browns. Perfection!

The only reason I’m giving four rather than five stars is that it always seems to be packed! And I’m not a very patient person. We have breakfast here every Saturday. It’s good old southern food and yummy. The lunches are great too. Their specialty is burgers, but they always have a southern special. So yummy! Service is friendly, but slow when it’s crowded… just what you can expect in a good old southern small town restaurant… but they are so sweet and apologetic.

I go to lunch here at least once a week. This is a great place to eat for burgers, fries, and a number of sandwiches and vegetable plates. A couple of the slight annoying things are: some tables are not cleaned off immediately after patrons leave which forces you to sit at a dirty table for a few minutes; sometimes you are not waited on for quite a few minutes after you sit down at a table. Other than that, it is a really good place to go and the wait staff is very friendly.

A breakfast/lunch place that always seems to have people in it. There are some booths/tables and a few counter spots. Shakes are made with real scoops of ice cream and are not more expensive than fast food premix even though they have to run the blender. My wife thought the chocolate shake(Blue Bell ice cream) was actually too chocolately, but the kids liked the strawberry one with real clog-the-straw berry pieces. Haven’t tried breakfast but the lunch was good and not costly.
