Omg… my mom’s friend recommended this place because of their amazing vegetable biryani and I’m glad she did. Don’t be fooled by the small restaurant, because the workers there are so sweet and will help recommended something that accommodates you. Being a vegetarian for 5 years, I know my fair share of Indian/Pakistani food and I can honestly say this is the best by far. We called back just to tell the cook how good the food was. Will be coming back in the future for sure!

Came all the way to this restaurant from some distance… Only to find they were«closed for maintenance». Not happy. No notice on website or elsewhere… But I guess no business would do that.

If you want authentic Biryani at a low price, you’ll get a good meal here. Very good food, ample portions, but don’t expect the fancy fare. I love this place and the fact you can feel full and satisfied for a low price. Excellent value.

Amazing food the Chicken boti paratha with my choice of extra onions is the best in town 5 stars and 2 thumbs up. The food is very low in cost which makes it affordable and pretty tasty for a fast food and or dine in or on the go excellent u got to try it.

The place is very small .I went there on chilly winter day. The temperature outside was -14 °F and inside they kept it 61 °F.I was can you do that? They do not have waiter system. Everything u order at the counter and the guy at the counter was missing for 5 – 8 mins. We ordered biryani and got it in less than 5 mins. When I ate that I knew how we got it in less that 5 mins. It was leftover from Y’day. The drinking water option was dirty. Finally the worst part was that I had to step out to nearest liquor shop to withdraw money from ATM because they accept cash only.seriously.they made me walk in -16 °F for money. But I will defiantly suggest this restaurants to my enemies. I canny give –1 star. I have to give 1star. sorry guys…

I love the chicken biryani at banda for $ 5. Also try the chilli chicken rice and gyros paratha wrap.

This is a great place for cheap, fast delicious food. It’s a family run business which serves up generous portions of authentic Pakistani food. Items such as seekh Kabab(spicy beef), biryani, shami Kabab. If you are on a budget but wanna try something different I would highly recommend this place. Prices are around $ 5 – 6 per person. This is my go to place on busy days when cooking is not an option. Place is simple with limited seating, if you are looking for something fancy this is not it but if you just want good food without breaking the bank, this is a great option. Tip: this is a cash only business, so they don’t accept credit cards.

I went some months ago during Labor Day weekend. I was on a mission to get some gyros. It most likely my fault that I was going for a Gyro and not looking into a Greek place, but everything else was closed or too far! So, I gave it a try, thinking maybe it’s a good hole in the wall ethnic place. This is not the gyros that I expected not lamb at all. Fries were soggy and ‘gyro’ was super greasy! My boyfriend and i wanted to share the meal, we asked for a knife. He gave us a big kitchen knife(WHAT?). I kept asking for ketchup for my fries, never gave it to me. Then, when I wanted to pay with card he asked if we could quickpay him. I just paid in cash instead. It was not a good experience for me especially in quality of service. It was just a no.

I didn’t get anything I ordered. Make sure you check the package before leaving, or else they won’t refund or make up for their mistakes. Also it is cash only(something else not mentioned when I ordered) despite there clearly being a sign that they accept money transfers from your bank account and have the names of the Banks listed(mine was one of them), but then was told cash only. I asked about the grilled tilapia. I was told it would be 2 pieces. I only got 1. I got a different curry and a different vegetable curry than the ones I ordered(ironically suggested by Staff.) The only dish I got that I asked for is the veg biryani. And it wasn’t very good. What a waste of money.

The food was very greasy and bland. Not good at all. Ordering was a huge hassle and they were very rude over the phone. The final straw was finding a big bug in my food. I didn’t have the energy to go back to get a refund. I’ll never go there again. Lesson learned.

Whoever said the food here is great have absolutely no taste in food, Indian or otherwise. The food tastes horrible and is full of third rate ingredients. If it doesn’t taste horrible then it will taste bland and dry, devoid of any taste. Waste of time, energy, and money to eat. The restaurant smells disgusting inside and it appears unclean. I feel like I will catch some disease or infection just by sitting down. They don’t accept card, cash only. On top of everything, the customer service is terrible! Avoid this place at all costs! The guy behind the counter gave me a serious attitude when I approached him nicely and when I was being friendly. Totally uncalled for. It is not the trouble to go there to even check it out. Save your time and money and you will be happy. Just let this place close down for the sake of humanity.

The only reason I go to Banda Nawaz is for the samosas. The beef and chicken samosas are crispy and very tasty. I haven’t had anything else from Banda Nawaz but I recommend the samosas(when they have them)

Great food at a great price. Tip: call your order in ahead of time since most of the food is made fresh.

I usually buy biryani for my co-workers. It’s the worst restaurant you can ever step in. It’s stinky the moment you step in. Quality has deteriorated over the period of time.

Great family run neighborhood spot if your craving biryani! Very reasonably priced and large food portions. Had the tandoori biryani extra spicy and wasn’t disappointed. Restaurant could use an upgrade for dining in but great option for some flavorful takeout.

I’ve driven here to get food to go when I crave home cooked food and it has yet to be a disappontment. Only down side is they don’t have everything listed on their menu. So definitely call beforehand to check. Prices are by far a great deal for your buck!

Hell no!!! Never again these guys do not know how to do business. Let me give you the play by play Called the place got a lady who took my order to go, said would be ready in 15 mins I show up and the guys have no idea about my order as the owner takes the order from her home and then calls it in to them. Their phone wasn’t working so no order called in. No rice or biryani only rolls and sandwiches. So I wait there for another 15. Then getting ready to pay and they don’t accept credit cards only cash or check. And rude and no apologies either. I’m happy to have taken out but would never eat in its filthy.

Drove all the way to Banda Nawaz after reading some of the reviews here. I am mighty disappointed. I ordered Seekh Kebabs, Chicken Biryani & Goat Biryani. Seekh kebabs were bland, devoid of any flavor. The mint-yogurt chutney was flat too. I seriously don’t understand why the Biryani gets such high praises on Unilocal. It seems the patrons have only tasted the ‘Ready Biryani’
