I have been ordering my flowers from this florist for over twenty years. Mother’s Day, Valentine’s Day, anniversaries, weddings, and yes… funerals. They always have the highest quality flowers available and even when prices have gone up they stayed competitive. I have met the members of this family owned business and they are all very nice.

I purchased a dozen roses roughly 3 weeks ago and they came out perfect — even after one week they still looked as fresh as they did when I picked them up. I have purchased various colors of roses before for my wife and mother and never been disappointed. Color selection has been nothing short of fabulous and we always get compliments on how beautiful they look. Price is more than reasonable considering the quality of the product. Will continue and go there for all future business

I received flowers for Admin Day on Wednesday. The basket was OK, two stems broken. However, by Friday, half of the flowers were wilting, even though the foam was wet and there was plenty of water. I sent an e-mail to the florist and they never bothered to contact me. My next contact will be to FTD. Poor quailty and poor service.

I ordered flowers shipped to my girlfriend’s dance studio for Valentine’s Day. The flowers themselves were great, however, my issue was with the service. For some reason, after the flowers had been delivered, my credit card did not go through. They called me to try to resolve the issue, but I could not answer my phone at work. When I called them back the next day, in an attempt to pay them, someone answered who said he was the designer and didn’t know how the payments worked. OK, cool, I’ll call back later, right? No. The next day, Larry calls me at MYWORKPLACE, claiming to be «a friend» so that my manager will put me on the phone. When I came to the phone, and heard that it’s Larry from Flowers Du Jour, I explain to him that I am at work right now and cannot take care of this. I would call him first thing in the morning. I’m not trying to avoid payment, as I called in yesterday with card in hand and unfortunately whoever they left in charge didn’t know how to take care of it. From this point on, even after I explained myself, Larry treated me and spoke to me as if he was a debt collector and I was running away from my debts. He said things like«I need to get paid for my services. Make sure this gets done by tomorrow, buddy.» I felt highly insulted by these sentiments, when it was on HIS records that I called their shop just yesterday, trying to pay. We finally spoke the next day and resolved the credit card issue, but then I decided to approach him on his customer service. I told him I understand he needs to be paid for his services, and I had every intention to do so. I even took steps myself to. I know it must be frustrating, However, I did not appreciate being spoken to as if I had done something wrong, and as if I was some kind of lowlife. His response? «I got guys owe me money since November. People do this to me all the time, and then I’m out money.» Me «I totally get it, and that really hurts your business, but I’m actively trying to pay you, and I in fact just DID pay you. I don’t appreciate being treated like I’m one of them, before I am.» Him«We’ll see. I don’t know if you’re one of em’ but we’ll see. Once this credit card goes through, THEN we’ll have a good relationship, and you can do business with us in the future.» This went on a little longer. Even through all of that explanation, until the very end, he would not back off, and continued speaking to me like a lowlife. Are you kidding me? I’m sorry. The fact that you lumped me into this group of people and treated me that way FIRST(especially when I TRIEDTOPAYYOU), was unacceptable. He basically gave me the Guilty until proven Innocent treatment. And when I openly told him I’m not avoiding payment, he said«We’ll see.» This is absolutely horrid customer service. To make a paying customer feel like garbage, is never okay. I liked a lot of their products and I had planned on going back to them for upcoming occasions, but now I will never, ever, order from Flowers Du Jour again. They treated me like I was less than a person, and so… No, Larry, we won’t be doing business in the future. I just hope they know they turned a happy repeat customer into an angry bad review on Unilocal

My husband ordered flowers for me on Valentine’s day through this business’s FTD site, and they gave them away. Sold them to a «paying customer» that happened to be there at the time. So when he went to pick them up right before our dinner they were gone and there were no replacements. He would have had to wait at least 20 minutes, which he didn’t have time to do. That’s understandable – it’s busy, there are a lot of things going on. Fine. Apologize, refund, and move on. However, yelling at the customer over the phone, offering a «refund minus $ 10», screaming that they needed to pick them up at a specific time that was not outlined previously, not calling to notify the customer, and then hanging up on them – that’s unacceptable. This«family run business», is not very familial with their customers. They hung up and screamed at both myself and my husband, outright refused to apologize, and said it was our own fault that the flowers were given away. I will never, ever, order from this place. I recommend that no one else do so either. And FTD should seriously reconsider including this business on their list of flower shops to order from.
