Visited this place on a Sunday night, the place was DEAD. only me and 2 others. The owner I’m assuming was our bartender, and was very friendly. We ordered a few drinks, and had the bar too ourselves. They have shuffle board here which seemed cool. Never played before. IF i was ever back in the area(my aunt lives near by) and wanted to go out, I would probably come back, I heard it gets pretty fun on a weekend night, when there are actually people there. lol They also sell jerky here, which is yummy.

I haven’t been here in so long but not much has changed. I really enjoy the live music and being able to get out and do a little dancing with the cuties that pile in this place :) the bartenders are very nice and know how to carry on a great conversation… well, I have to get back to the drinks and ladies ;)…cheers!

Great prices, great bartenders, great crowd. Well, most of the time. Shit, what do you want from me? When you’re not blowing up The Chicken Man in Philly, make The Cow Track your destination.

You know the type of places that when you walk inside — things just feel right? The type of place that makes shoulder and neck strain, just fade away, with it’s homey and loving interior and vibe. Well — Cow Track is one of those places. From all-around good people who work behind the bar, to the familiar regulars, to the casual outdoor smoking area, to shuffleboard, to a small live music stage, and well kept bathrooms — Cow Track is where you want to end up if you’re looking to celebrate, make new friends, and find a warm hug release in Oakdale. Trust.

To H-B or to Cowtrack, that is the question when going out in Oakdale. Although there is 50% chance you will end up making an appearance at the Track, I often sway from spending too much time here. Why? I think its the space — I mean, New Deal, Cost less whatever right next door? That has always kind of messed with my mind when trying to chill out here. Although I love the large tables, the juke box and the large smoking area — I mainly find myself thinking that I’m in a van down by the river. However, this is still 3 stars for the Oakdizzle! Im pretty sure the owner is friends with my dad, grandma, and everyone else that is oakdale. Its like clockwork, I will be here again, and again, and again, like it or not :)

Great country bar! Mixed crowd of young(newly 21) and old(mid-50) people. Wasn’t crowded and we were there from 10:30 to midnight. Don’t count on the security guard for diffusing a fight.

This is my hang out anytime im in town. I can watch the Giants game with other fellow fans. Put on some Ween or old Daft Punk on the Jukebox and just have a nice time. Also some great bands go through here such as The Good Luck Thrift Store Outfit and Built Like Alaska. They also have sugar Free Red bull and Hot Spot to play!!!

Best«scene» in Oakdale. Stop by on Wednesday’s «Open Mic» night where you will be surprised to find a surging bluegrass revival amongst the younger musician folk. Or check your local listings for random shows by Oakdale’s favorite bluegrassers: The Good Luck Thrift Store Outfit Band… it’s some awfully good a pickin’ and a singin’. Classic Oakdale.

reasonably priced drinks and shuffleboard? keystone in cans? One of the few things I miss now that I live in LA. fun mix of old and young patrons, charlie does a good job keeping the place at the center of the local nightlife. Live music.

If you’re of legal drinking age in Oakdale or its border towns… you’ve probably been to Cow track right? There’s something about this place. I’m not sure if its the shuffleboard table, the bartender that looks like Tom Green or the really awesome tables made out of giant lacquered tree stumps… whatever it is, its fun. My husband has worked for the same company in Oakdale for about four years now and his work Christmas parties, or work birthday parties end up at Cow Track 99% of the time! We always have a great time.

Welcome to the Cowboy Capital! Oakdale. The West at it’s Best. The local hangout for years has been«The Track». Go in, have a cold beer and hang with the locals. Hipsters and regular cowhands alike hang at the bar. Check out some of the live music on some nights from the locals. A little bit country and little bit rock’n’roll…

Medium-ish locals bar featuring country-western in the reputed cowboy capital of California. It’s a fun time. You’ll find a mix of posh youngins and older regulars mingling and mixing. We came here with some friends from the area to see Lazy Train(Bluegrass) and had an awesome time. Beers go from 3.50−4.00 bucks but the bar is fully loaded.
