Big 5 Sporting Goods

I went here twice when I was staying in nearby Wishon and the staff were really helpful and friendly both times I was there.
The store has a great stock of items, including sleds and chains that my local store does not carry (it does not snow in the Bay).

The one star evaluation of Big 5 really isn’t representative of the everyday practices at this store. It looks as though that customer experienced an exception to the everyday service. Black Friday brings out the worst in people and I do not doubt the reviewer had a bad experience. I don’tknow what more a business could do to help the customers they serve. I have been a customer of Big 5 Oakhurst since the day the opened in Oakhurst. The people working there, as well as the management have been more than helpful. They have refunded and exchanged items that were unsatisfactory, located items that were out of stock and called me when they received them, provided discounts whenever possible, and held items by phone when I could not get to the store. What more you can ask of a business?
