The food is always fresh here and they have a wide variety to choose from. Their chicken francaise on a baguette is particularly tasty, as is their sliced turkey on any bread, with cranberry sauce. They are also prompt, and the wait is never more than five minutes.

I love this place, best hangover breakfast sandwich, not sure why — but it hits spots that need to be hit after consuming entirely too many drinks the night before. I typically go with a pork roll, egg and cheese on one of their specialty rolls they have on display(ALWAYS go for one of those random rolls because they just are infinitely better). I have only gotten lunch from here once, but dream about coming back again for lunch, because their specialty sandwiches all look incredible. I can’t even remember what one I got, but I do remember that the deli meat was not dry at all and I ate it a while after I purchased it and the bread was not soggy at all. Their egg salad looks amazing and I’m hoping to get that the next time I’m there. I would suggest calling in orders and picking them up because ordering there does take a while, and you might be overwhelmed with the options. They have great cookie and chip selections as well!

Anyone who lives in Monmouth county knows how good Brennan’s is. A great pork roll, egg, and cheese for breakfast to a fresh sub for lunch… you just can’t beat them. Everything is made as you order and I’ve never had anything bad. Staff is also friendly and wait time isn’t terrible. Only downside is that they can be pricey but if you’re willing to pay for quality there is no issue.

Wow so happy I stopped here. I am never ever in this area so I took to my Unilocal app to find a good breakfast/coffee spot after a local meeting. The menu is amazing. I loved the sandwich combinations. I was not super hungry so I didn’t eat much but I know I need to head back starving to try one of the LOX sandwiches.

Not the place for simple breakfast sandwiches. Sausage egg and cheese on a hard roll was skimpy to say the least — it was all bread. 1 egg and 1 piece of sausage for $ 4.99…the other food did look good though, maybe if I go back I’ll get a deli sandwich. Avoid the breakfast sandwiches.

The quality of the breakfast here was through the roof, it was fairly cheap and as bourgeois as it sounds, I cannot believe that this was food made in a deli. I do not think I have ever had pancakes from scratch or at least none that tasted as fresh and light as these. The orange juice was freshly squeezed, the toast I stole from my compatriot was freshly baked and the coffee was quite strong. The deli staff were polite and managed to prepare our food quite quickly considering the line of people coming through the door. I am definitely returning.

Simply one of the best delis in the area. Everything is always fresh, always delicious and my God, they have the best bread EVER! I’ve tried many of their sandwiches and I’ve never been disappointed. This place is usually PACKED in the summer, but calms down more as the weather gets colder. Great breakfast/lunch spot(and not to mention Rook is right down the road…) Love Brennan’s.

Excellent deli. Everyone is very friendly, the food is fresh and the options are endless. I pretty much come here everyday and never get bored of the menu/selections. They also have great prepared foods if you need something to take home for dinner.

Tried to get breakfast here. It was empty when we got there. We placed our order and waited almost 25 minutes and still no food. Other people came after us, got their food, and finished it even. We went up to the counter to check the status of our order 3 times and each time they said«just a few more minutes» or «sorry the grill is really busy.» It just didn’t make sense. We ended up canceling our order because it shouldn’t take over 30 minutes to get a breakfast order and they were definitely serving other people ahead of us. Maybe their food is good but I’ll never know because I’m never going back. There’s definitely something going on behind the scenes. I had never felt so discriminated against in my life. I felt very uncomfortable sitting there and simply waiting.

These guys used to be so nice, friendly and helpful. But something’s changed. Ordered several fried grouper sandwiches to go but asked that they pack them«deconstructed» so they don’t get soggy. Also asked for a piece of lemon. They had the audacity to charge an extra dollar for each sandwich. When I asked why they first said it was for the lemon. I told them to keep the lemon so they then said it was to wrap the sandwiches«deconstructed». I’ve been a customer for many years. When they saw I was unhappy, they gave me $ 3 back and the busboy said«If you don’t like our policy, don’t come back» So I won’t!

I have been eating hear at least once a week since it opened! A little pricey but worth it, a little bit of everything and great daily specials. People are always friendly(In Oakhusrst) not so much in Rumson.

Brennens is the best sandwich shop around Monmouth University-BY FAR. They have a huge selection, and make things pretty fast– considering that they’re always busy. Their sandwiches are big– good if you want half now and half later. They can be on the pricier side, but they are worth it considering the amount of food you get.

Brennan’s is one of my two favorite delis in the Eatontown/Tinton/Red bank area. It is hard to choose between Brennan’s and the Monmouth Clubhouse. I tend to go to Brennan’s when I am with a larger crowd as they have more seating. The food is very fresh and plentiful. I typically«make my own» sandwich. The service is fast and food is great. Another nice thing is that they make fresh sides and soups daily. The daily special is also usual very good. It’s a win, win! They do tend to get busy around 12PM, so get here early to beat the rush.

As soon as we got into town, my pal Mac insisted we head to Brennan’s in the morning for their famous Pork-roll, Bacon, Egg and Cheese sandwiches. I admit I was a little skeptical at first, for adding two breakfast meats on a sandwich is not something commonly done. The next morning, all of my concerns were put to rest. The Pork-roll, Bacon, Egg and Cheese sandwich was fantastic. As Mac will tell ya, Brennan’s Delicatessen is the best breakfast sandwich joint in all of Ocean Township.

Easily my favorite lunch place around. The prices are a little high but this is a place where you get what you pay for! My favorite order: Flank steak with lettuce, tomato, onion, avocado and Chipotle mayo on a plain wrap. It is a special sometimes in the fall. If you are a steak fan, I highly recommend it! I also tend to pick up a pre-made salad for dinner! I can honestly say I’ve never had a bad meal here!

Am enjoying the most wonderful healthy sandwich here. Fresh turkey — really fresh! Roasted red peppers — homemade! Mozzarella — yum! A fabulous multigrain, seed-topped roll — like it just came this morning from a bakery! And just the right amount of lettuce(a beautiful romaine leaf), tomato and oil and vinegar. Delish! And the sweet young woman who took my order– generous with information and cheer! If I lived near here full time, I’d be here every day! Maybe twice a day!

Can’t say enough great things about this deli! I have been here twice and both times have been fantastic. First time I had a Turkey sub that was simply incredible. There is a huge difference between the real turkey breast used at Brennan’s and the turkey«ball» used at many other places. The second time I had a Mahi sandwich that was also incredible. The bread options are plentiful but I prefer the 7-grain roll. It has a hard exterior for far better handling of messy subs yet is still soft on the inside. I didn’t try any of their deli items like salads but they did look fantastic. They also have a wide selection of bottled soda and tea for your enjoyment. #Yelp100

Having worked in the nearby area for the last few years, I’ve had the pleasure of eating many a corporate catered lunch from here, and ended up buying my own quite often as well. The food was always fresh, the sandwiches big and delicious, and the salads downright tasty. In fact,(thanks in part to my last company, who catered from here constantly), Brennan’s is party to thank for my loss of nearly 45 pounds, thanks to their tasty salads. Two things come to mind that are«must try’s» for this place. One is the Oriental salad, which has a pretty nice asian styled dressing on it, as well as a good amount of nut clusters and orange fruit slices. The other is my personal favorite sandwich, the #14: Roast beef with cheddar cheese, bacon, tomato, and russian dressing. I usually get it on pumpernickel bread. Sandwiches are made to order, and they’ll put it on whatever style bread you like, or a roll. Lots of meat inside the suckers, too. The only downside is that they’re a tad pricey. Salads are in the $ 8 range, sandwiches are around the same, with most starting at $ 7.75. I had no qualms ordering from here on a weekly basis when my company was footing the bill, but with a drink your lunch can easily go over $ 10 — not TOO over the top, but something I can’t really see myself paying on a regular basis. There’s a bunch of sandwich shops in the area that will give you more food for a bunch less money — they just aren’t as «gourmet» tasting as Brennan’s. Worth a visit for lunch, just not all the time or you’ll end up with a light wallet.
