Eh. This little Chinese restaurant is alright not the best save our money. Can of soda for 2.25 and the food is prepared with what tastes like old cooking oil.

This place definitely doesn’t deserve some of these reviews. The food was good and we got plenty of it! We called in our order and it was ready in 20 minutes. I recommend the prawns in black bean sauce!

Regardless of others critical reviews, the owner was so nice. We came the other night for dinner and the service was very good. We had a great time there.

Please DONOT come here even if you’re craving Asian food. Best thing about this place was the WHITE rice. People who gave this place more than 1 star are the ones who have never eaten at legit Chinese restaurant before. Horrible customer service and the food was pricey.

Good Chinese place, soups are pretty good. They also gave us a complimentary dessert.

My husband and I just returned from this restaurant. We chose it based on the reviews. We found it to be a clean and nice little family restaurant. I had the beef and broccoli, which was just fine. Not the best I have ever eaten but certainly very tasty. My husband had the sweet and sour pork which he says was good. It was reasonably priced. Service was super fast.

For the location, 5 stars. Easily some of the best Chinese I’ve had, especially for the money, and the service is super friendly.

Please don’t eat at this place. I ordered 4 different dishes– so terrible. I regret that I did not go to a fast restaurant instead.

Best Chinese food around yosemite. They have excellent veggie dishes. We tried their sautéed string beans and chow Mein and they were delicious.

They know you are a sucker the minute you set your foot in their restaurant. Justifiably, They treat you as one. My story needs to be told so you DON’T follow our footstep. We walked in at around 8pm on a weekend night. There were plenty of empty tables, but we had to wait 25 mins to be seated. Once seated, there was no one to serve you, so that gave us a chance to see what a mess this place was. Dirty dishes left unattended on other tables. Unhappy customers waited to be seated or seated but received no service. This place is a DUMP! The whole place screams SH*T! A look into the kitchen, more piles of dirty dishes gathering dust and flies! The boss is too cheap to fix the place but also too cheap to hire more people. Given how sh*tty this place is, I wouldn’t be surprised if they recycle the leftover to be in your next order. I have no idea why this restaurant is allowed to open. It’s a PUBLICHEALTHHAZARD! In this small town of Oakhurst, Ca, if you ever so slightly crave for a hot wonton soup or kung-pao chicken, they know you will have to end up with them. So they can treat you any way they like. And they have. So to continue my story, my GF was so upset that no one tried to take order after being seated for 25 mins(That’s after waited 25 mins to be seated), we finally came to the realization that this place SUCKS D*CK! Finally, We walked out of it, drove to the Crab Cakes Restaurant just half a mile down the road, and received a nice, very courteous reception at 9pm on Sunday night. How is that for a contrast! I’ve never left a bad review on a restaurant. My belief system tells me «If I don’t have anything good to say, don’t say anything». But this restaurant, China Delight, out in Oakhurst, CA, impressed us so much that I had to spend 30 mins on a Wed night to give a one-star review. May this place bites the dust, sooner rather than later. Amen.

It’s very authentic Chinese cuisine. We tried and would recommend black bean fish and salt and pepper rib. The owner of the restaurant is very friendly. He gave us dessert in the end as well. Everything is tasty and delicious. Would go back again if we are in the area.

OMG, certainly not a delight. I think you would be better off cooking a packet of Cup O’ Noodles in your hotel room. Worst wonton soup ever. Hot and sour soup… Would you like some liquid with that cornstarch The portions were so small, eventhough they were family style. I can make better fried rice based off memory from a recipe from my 7th grade home economics cranky crazy Chinese teacher. I can’t even remember what I ordered it was so bad, so much that I actually ended up ordering a pizza from Round Table. This is not the lesser of the two evils in Oakhurt.

2 stars, due to customer service only, we had the shrimp fried rice, beef and broccoli, chicken lo mein, and fried shrimp. The fried shrimp was ok, but the rest was H O R R I B L E! When the food came to the table it had a terrible off smell, couldn’t place it, but when we took a bite of them, was unedible. The owner/manager did not charge us, even when we wanted to pay for the fried shrimp and drink, he refused. So customer service was good, but ick on the food.

The place looks a little creepy on the outside, but after terrible service at the near by Denny’s, we decided to walk over to the China Delight. I am so glad we did! The server was excellent. We were immediately seated, served hot tea and ordered within the first five minutes of arriving. Our food took no longer than 10 minutes. We did the single dinner special and was surprised by the amount food that arrived! It included a soup, a main entrée(meat, rice, veggie roll, and chow mien) and a desert rice pudding. All for less than $ 11! Get past the creepy exterior and give it a try. :)

We actually came here last night but forgot to check in. We originally wanted to try Alice’s BBQ but they were closed because they were sold out, BOO!!! Anyway we decided to stop here since it was next door the hotel and closer than the Brewery. The décor of this restaurant isn’t anything fancy. For dinner we were going to order the Family B but the waiter said it would be best to order off the other dishes. He knew we were Chinese and recommended that. We ended up ordering the Water spinach, salt and pepper shrimp, Kung pao chicken(a must for me) and the seafood tofu soup. The seafood tofu soup surprisingly was good. It actually had big pieces is shrimp unlink other chinses restaurant that I have frequent who only include bits of shrimps. The soup itself isn’t as creamy/thick as they didn’t seem to have used corn starch. The Kung Pao was okay. It’s good but I’ve had better. I can’t believe I’m saying this but I love Panda Express and Silver Garden’s KPC. The salt and pepper shrimp was good but I would’ve preferred the shell on. The waiter indicated it was easier for the customers and you wouldn’t get your fingers dirty from peeling the shell. But being me and loving authentic Chinese food, I would’ve preferred the shell. It just doesn’t taste the same. The water spinach(that’s what I’m going to call it) was crispy and sweet. I’ve ever had this dish where the vegetable was gigantic. The waiter said it was grown locally. The waiter himself was pretty cool. He came by to check up on us and had a conversation with us. Overall this place is pretty good for Chinese food in the middle of nowhere. We were staying in town for the Yosemite Half marathon.

As a chinese person, i usually look at «american style» chinese restaurants with disgust and embarrassment. This was not the case. Although there were some skeptical reviews, we went ahead and ate here because we had not eaten rice in 7 days(GASP) I ordered the Japanese udon soup, which was flavorful and not MSG– filled(yay) We also ordered some salt and pepper pork which is basically deep fried and it was AMAZING. This place has both authentic and non-authentic chinese food and the service was phenomenal. We were all genuinely surprised overall.
