We have no clue why anyone would rate them low! We happened upon them on our way from Yosemite to the airport & were excited to find a donut shop. They had a huge selection of freshly made donuts. It was clean & the owner & his daughter were very nice.

I recommend the French cruller. Looking for a quick stop and donuts and coffee. This is your place. Has cooler filled with water, milk, juice and soda as well. Also have a ham and cheese croissant that sister in law would recommend. All in all good decision.

Donuts are my weakness, and after being dissapointed because she only takes cash, my wife and I quickly found an ATM. The transaction fee was worth it. They were the best donuts we’ve had in a long time. So soft and fresh. If you’re in Oakhurst anytime before 2 pm, be sure to stop by Judy’s for a really tasty treat!

We were on our way to Yosemite Valley for the day and saw Judy’s sitting on the side of Hwy 41 in perfect morning sunlight. It was just meant to be. Doughnuts were meant to be eaten by us on this fine morning. Judy’s is simple. Nothing glamorous, nothing groundbreaking, nothing weird or so hip your kids will have to tell you about it. Just doughnuts here, folks. It reminds me of some of the doughnut places I grew up with as a kid where the same regulars showed up every morning, the coffee was always terrible, and the doughnuts were made with love. Judy’s is just like that and I dig it. We grabbed a few to go. Just a few glazed for me and a crueller for my wife. They were fantastic. Great texture and flavor and an easy fix for a morning«meal.» I also loved how this tiny shop had the stereotypical cooler-o-beverages with sodas, chocolate milk, coffee to go, etc. The service was straightforward. Here’s the selection, take your pick, pay for them, leave. Easy does it. Big fan of this tiny, local spot. I’d head back in a heartbeat. Especially on another day before heading to Yosemite.

I love me an apple fritter! Have since I was a kid. Judys Donuts has always been pretty good, but I received the worst fritter in my 29 years on this planet. Nice little friday morn with my dad, gonna lift our spirits… wah wah WAH! Not so much. I’ll do my best to get over this and hopefully it doesn’t run through my weekend and ruin it too. ;-) Make um’ fresh, Judy’s! C’mon!

My son requested I leave a 5– review — he had a single donut hole and a twisted donut and was very happy with his(well, my) purchase. I was content to enjoy the aroma of fresh baked donuts. The apple fritters were very tempting however I resisted the temptation. My older son had a chocolate glazed bar and gave it a thumbs up also.

I almost gave two stars because the donuts are good but the lady working there was so terrible that I can’t give another star. And no matter how good the donuts are I am never going here again because they are totally shady. Here is what happened… My bf and I went in and were the only customers. We decided to get a dozen listed as $ 7.75 on the menu board. We order 8 blueberry donuts, two cream filled, and two sprinkle. I asked if an apple fritter was extra and she said yes so I did not get one. When she gave us the total she said $ 9.50. I said why is it is so much, it says $ 7.75 on the menu board. She said it was because we ordered a lot of blueberry. I told her she can’t raise the price just because we have a lot of one flavor.(And by the way they had PLENTY of blueberry). So begrudgingly she adjusted the price to $ 8.25. I asked why it was still more. She said because cream filled are extra. I paid her and let her know that she can’t just change the price because she feels like it and that’s a really bad way to do business. IF you do choose to patronize this unethical donut shop, make sure they charge what the menu says. I’m pretty sure it’s against the law to charge prices other than what the menu states.

yuck. I work next to this place. They leave the back door open. Anything(bugs, mice) can walk in the door. The place is super busy. Judy is long gone. But the name is the same. Have a nice day

not the best donuts we had but the shop intendant’s smile and the extra halloween donut we got brightened our departure for LA ;)

If you make donuts with chocolate frosting on them. They should taste like chocolate, not mint chocolate. So disgusting. The cream cheese«burrito» was inedible and the only thing that we got that was worth finishing was a glazed donut with coconut. We had five different kinds in total. Don’t bother stopping, this place was awful.

3 Stars for the ambiance and small town feel — the donuts are OK I was let down by the fritter, it was too doughy, was missing apple chunks and no veins of cinnamon wonderfulness? What was I eating? It looked like an apple fritter, had the general taste of an apple fritter yet didn’t have the goods necessary for a top-notch rating. The only thing that redeemed this place was the buttermilk donut. It was damn good! I’d stop in again if I needed a donut but I’d skip the fritter. Being at the edge of Yosemite park pretty much keeps the customers coming but what was cool was the fact that 8 seniors were sitting there on Sunday morning shooting the shit. Obviously a local place for donuts but I don’t think there is another donut place for 30+ miles? I wouldn’t drive out of Yosemite for this spot. If you have the donut fix and are going to or from Yosemite, stop by.

We went here three days in a row since we were leaving for Yosemite before our hotel’s breakfast was available. My husband LOVED their apple fritters. I enjoyed the ham and cheese croissant(better the 1st time; ok the 2nd time). Glazed donuts, cake donuts, old fashioneds and everything else were fine. They’ll make decaf for you if they don’t have any already.

I read the first review on here about this donut shop, and I figured I had to see for myself how good it was. I’m a fan of donuts, but I only eat them once in a while because I get tired of eating grease and sugar. Lucky for me, this donut shop has the most non-greasy, flavorful, yummy donuts! I had 1⁄3 of 3 donuts… The blueberry old-fashioned donut was more tasty than a blueberry muffin. The apple fritter was crispy and soft, not stale or soggy. Finally, the plain chocolate-frosted donut left me wanting more. The texture, flavor, and smaller-than-normal size was perfect! They have coffee, juice, soda, tea, and espresso drinks. There is also seating for 10 people inside. Get here before 10am on a Saturday if you want to choose from more than 4 types of donuts — — this place is really popular!

Judy’s Donuts made me want to open up my own donut shop. Even though I live in Ohio, when we stopped to get a donut here after leaving Yosemite, I had not had that tasty a donut in a long time. I’ve always been an extreme donut fan, but until you’ve had the blueberry, you haven’t lived. Even over 2 years later, Judy’s Donuts lives on in my mind as one of the top 2 donut places ever. Start your day off here!
