It got the job done. I needed a gel manicure and that’s exactly what I got for $ 30. There was nothing special about this place; it’s a little grimy looking. This was my first time here, so I wasn’t familiar with the people. They were extra friendly to the «regulars». Myself on the other hand, they got me in and out quickly. I’m new to the area, so a little conversing would have been nice. I’ll probably try somewhere new next time just for a better over all experience. But my manicure turned out good, so if you bypassing through, this place is okay.

Just had the best experience!!! Deluxe pedicure with salt scrub and paraffin plus massage and Polish it was fantastic!!! Great way to end a really rough week!
Also got a full set of nails that are gorgeous… Tina and Steven are wonderful, highly recommend this salon to locals and tourists alike!!!

My family and I went camping in Yosemite for a week recently. I am pregnant and am not able to do all the big hikes and adventures the rest of the family wanted to do. In frustration I decided to wonder into town for a mani/​pedi. This was the first salon I saw and I am so glad for it.
I got the deluxe pedi and let me tell you it was AMAZING!!! They wash your feet, then salt scrub your feet/​leg, then use paraffin wax and to add to it give you a massage. Felt amazing!!! Prices are great and the service is wonderful!
It really made my camping experience 10x better and I enjoyed myself while the rest of the family was off having adventures. When I visit Oak Hurst again I am going here again!!!

I was very satisfied with my mani-​pedi. The service was excellent the manicurist took her time. More than I expected. The pedicure included a good massage and exfoliation that left my feet looking and feeling better than pedis I’ve had in the past. I called in the morning for an afternoon appointment and they seated me as soon as I arrived. I’ll definitely go back and recommend.

We have been coming here since March and we LOVE this place!!! I have gotten services done by many different people and all have been GREAT! I bring my 4 yr old and my husband and they treat everyone great! The pedicures are awesome and the are very good with gel! The prices are loke any average nail salon in any town! Try and make an appointment because they are always busy!

Wow first of all I waited more than what they told me. Then once my turn comes around they were rushing to get to the next person. My nails weren’t that difficult just some gel nail polish and a chevron design. OMG they came out horrible. the design didn’t dry completely and smeared when they put the top coat on. I will not be coming here again. $ 40 down the drain. Waiting for them to come off naturally and go back to Fresno.

Star Nails saved my life, and I have been meaning to write this Unilocal review for a year now.
I was married in Yosemite last year and amidst all the wedding craziness, completely forgot to book a nail appointment for my wedding day. In my mind there would be dozens of places happy to take me as a walk-in…however that wasn’t the case. Instead it was the day before my wedding (and hours before my rehearsal dinner) and I showed up in tears, probably looking like I had a body in the back of my trunk or something, because nobody could take me, and I had called everywhere within 20 miles. Even though I was a hot mess the staff was extremely kind, and offered me some wine to try and relax. They worked me into their fully packed day and did a beautiful job. My wedding day mani & pedi was perfect.
I will be back, Star Nails!

Very busy for a Tuesday and every spa chair was full. I had Mai do my piggy toes and she did a great job.

Tommy and Van run a great place here! Always clean, friendly and everyone there is always nice!

Star Nails in Oakhurst has wonderful employees who give a great service for the price that you pay. They accomodate me every time I have needed to get in.
I love the pedicures and the fabulous massage chairs really relax those sore back muscles!

Do not have Stephen at star nails do your nails. Also Star Nails will not fix their mistakes. I had my nails done 3 weeks ago, but they started lifting after a week and then started coming off. In all the years of going there I have never had that problem, they would last for months. I paid fourty dollars to have them done I expect them to last. I was willing to pay for the fill on the nails that didn’t come loose, if they would fix the ones that came off and are lifting, but Tommy said no you have to pay for them. Really you won’t even try to make a wrong right. I will go back to Fresno, they give me a discount after coming in so many times and they will fix their mistakes or give you an even bigger discount. I’m not slamming Star Nails to promote business else where, I like Tommy and Van but they will not fix their mistakes you have to pay for it. A good business tries to acommodate their customers and make them happy. This is the first time I have ever had a complaint and they won’t work with me. Fire Stephen before you lose more customers.

This place is awesome! Every time I visit my soon to be in-​laws, I stop by for a $ 20 pedicure that lasts 6 weeks! The gals are great. Very talented if you want some artwork on your toes too.
They have massage chairs and last time I totally fell asleep. They give you at least a 15 minute leg massage. Lots of colors to choose from. I’d recommend them any day!
