The Oakroom Bar

They have a pool table and shuffle board. It’s cheap to drink and somewhat fun. Bartenders are nice and friendly. Good at they’re jobs. The crowd is what makes me want to put 3 stars, but I couldn’t cause I come often and the bartenders make it 4 stars.

Three pool tables, shuffleboard, internet jukebox, hot spot what more can you ask for!

Love this dive bar! Lots of music to choose from! The bartenders are always super friendly and patient. Has that super small town cute vibe. Fun for a night out or afternoon good conversations with some local old timers.

Moved up here month ago. Friendly folks and a layer back place. Internet jukebox and plenty of pool tables. Clean, long bar and friendly staff.

Stopped in during a poker run and decided to have a beer since we were there. Looks like a cool little bar. Good service from the bartender and they also have several pool tables. Definitely have to stop in again.

The bar is your average local bar in the middle of nowhere. Being a tourist not from the area the bar with the highest rating in the area where nothing too special. Locals rating this establishment simply haven’t been to better ones to known the difference. Better than the other bars in Oakhurst, and more young people at it this may be the best shot you have at having a good drink in the small town. There are not many beer offerings, and even less liquor offerings. The service is exceptional, with a knowledgeable and friendly bartender. There are pool tables, and a karaōke machine. The backroom I would not enter unless you smoke, it seems like everyone is either smoking outside or in the backroom, not many people doing anything else but killing their lungs. The biggest struggle I have with this bar is the fact I ordered a single shot, and two days later was alerted by my credit card company I was charged $ 18 dollars, and my account was suspended due to suspicious activity. Eighteen dollar shots sound suspicious indeed.

I travel a lot for work and this is a great friendly place. Gotta check it out when you’re rolling through.

If your in Oakhurst and your looking for a place to go have a drink day or night the Oakroom is the place to go. On Saturday night s they have karaōke with a great host and sound system. They also have three pool tables. All of the Bar tenders there are really friendly male and female. Sometimes on Friday nights they have great bands there is always something fun to do. its also a great place to just have a good drink and relax. They have great bloody marys.

Still giving 5 stars because we had a great time it the bartender was grumpy and he played a stereo on the other side of the bar for his gf while we just spent $ 20 on the juke box to listen to our songs.

Love myself a local dive bar with some personality. Bartender is the man! The local patrons are friendly & welcoming. This bar has just enough funk as to not loose it’s «dive bar» status but is still clean. Nice! Great place to kick back & have a few :)

Dirty, old, and outdated. This bar needs a major facelift. Bartender was rude. Beer lukewarm. Typical small-​town dive-​bar.

This place is either 5 stars or 1, depending on what you are looking for. It is a total dive, which may or may not be appealing. The bartender happily obliged when I asked for some dice and a cup, but the dice were stuck together. Drinks were cheap and strong but if the jukebox runs out of cash it gets quiet pretty quick.

No, do not go here! The bar is filthy, the locals are downright aggressive, and the pool table/​games are disgusting. If there was any plus, they pour a strong drink, but that doesn’t make up for the rest of the place.

A bar that is a mobile home off the side of the road?! Random but rad! I am one that does not mind a dive-​y bar. In fact I rather a dive bar than some frou-​frou chi-​chi snobby place… True dive bars and not hipster dive bars offer tons of rather entertaining people watching. I learned how to play shuffle board, was called out to freak (dance) with some real characters but I declined and got to see people practically have sex while the drunkly danced to bad tunes played courtesy of the jukebox!
The drinks are poured with a heavy hand and a jack and coke are served in a pint glass! AWESOME!!!
