Spring Break Deli

I live nearby, I’m simply reviewing their empanadas.
If you live in bayside you know they are hard to come by. But here they make their own and it comes with sauces. Packed with meat it hits the spot if empanadas are what you’re looking for in bayside.

The employees are not real friendly here, and this deli isn’t that great. I was sold an uncooked Nestle Crunch bar one time, the ATM doesn’t work half the time, and the prices are outrageous, especially when you’re a student with very small amounts of money. I needed a lighter for a school chemistry project and they refused to sell me it because I was under 18. I think that’s ridiculous because there’s no law for it like cigarettes or alcohol, and at 16 or 17, not many people are dumb enough to play with fire, and all them saying «no» to me was force me to drive out of my way to purchase one somewhere else. This store is run by misguided, clueless people. This place is only alive because of its location, certainly not because of its quality or service. Try the gas station across the street.

This place is delicious. I Drive a truck often for work. It is right off the LIE on the Horace Harding right after the Clearview entrance ramp for the LIE East. I stop there alot. so it is real ez on ez off for me. mostly I am coming of the clearview.
Their sandwiches are great. The philly cheese steak is my favorite. add jalapenos and mayo. Its actually really good. Some crazy Ukranian guy i sometimes work with gets that. I get it now is great.
All the sandwiches are good. Good selection of 24 oz beers to wash it down.
I have to say though the place is a little dirty. but for who cares as long as the food is good.
I have brought my wife there she loves it and works nearby. she brings her co-​workers. they like it too.
