Prodecotech

Purchased two Prodeco E-​bikes in San Diego. The first one was stolen, and when i tried to buy another i had to wait three months for delivery. Their website listed two battery options for the Stride 500. I never spoke directly to the company, only to the dealer in San Diego, who is a very nice fellow.
I wanted the same battery as my first bike, only to be repeatedly rebuffed, I think they were trying to dump an inferior battery and lower their inventory of dead wood.
It wasn’t a question of money, i suggested send a bike with no battery and sell me one separately. I did not know that i would not get my battery until it was delivered.
Boy was, am i disappointed.
On flat land with constant pedaling i can only get eighteen miles to a charge.
Now six months later i am looking at Pedego Bikes. They have many options and rave reviews for customer service.
Goodbye Prodeco, you lost a customer.
