1984 Printing

1984 did a great job on my zine!

My friends and I have been working with 1984 Printing for a while. We figured it was cheaper printing with them than xeroxing off our own zines.
The turnaround is about a month or two, and they were pretty awesome to deal with. It was really rad to come in and deal with a local printer and to talk to them in person on what you want.
Also printed 5“x7″ postcards with them, and the postcards came out great.

We used 1984 for our first project, and they were very nice to work with– so we decided to use them again for two other print jobs.
After telling us they could print our projects no problem, a week and a half before we needed them, they stopped corresponding with us. They would not respond to our many emails, nor would they return our calls and messages. I don’t know what the deal was but if they’d just told us they couldn’t do it if they couldn’t instead of telling us from the beginning them leaving us hanging, we would have been able to find another printer. But they ignored us instead and we were unable to find another printer in the time or get our projects printed because of it.
They have still never replied to us, and this was months ago. We will not be using them again.
