30 Day-Boot Camp

I emailed them — no response.
I called them — weird automated message, then ‘please hold for a trainer’ then after a few minutes of bad muzak, ‘sorry this extension is not available’.

After management became aware of my complaint re: the 2-​week hiatus of classes in December, they did take steps to rectify that situation as it related to my account. This was a nice gesture and restored some of my faith in the management!

I love 30 Day Bootcamp. I’ve been a regular for 5 months — the workouts, along with watching my diet have helped me lose over 20 pounds. The trainers are great and I love that it’s outdoors. It’s a great way to start my morning.

This is an awesome set up and the female instructors are all slightly different but all totally awesome. I got the LivingSocial deal and I can’t believe how good value it is! Am noticing the effects a few weeks in and loving it.
Definitely recommend it.

Finally got my refund from 30-​Day Boot Camp, so I feel they are an honest business, just not what I had in mind because I had SHOWERS in mind, apparently.

A few months back, I bought a Living Social deal for one month of unlimited classes at 30 Day Boot Camp. I was primarily attending the 8am class at 500 William Street, and I loved it. It was intense, but only 45 minutes long, so definitely manageable. Martin is a great instructor — he really pushed us, but was very sweet and friendly and encouraging. The workouts changed every day, so it was never boring. I felt great afterwards.
I went regularly for 2 weeks. Then the new semester started and I only made it in once in the third week, and then, all of a sudden, their schedule changed: morning classes were to be held only at the Montclair location, while afternoon and evening classes would be held at the Uptown location. This didn’t fit in with my schedule, so I only made it in once more — to a Saturday morning class at the Montclair location. (That was a good class, too, but I liked being outside better.) I got a text the other day saying that 500 William Street would be hosting morning classes again. Since my Living Social deal is long over and I can’t afford their normal prices at the moment, I won’t be returning immediately, but I’ll definitely keep it in mind for the future. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a new fitness routine.

Three months ago my coworker and I decided get off our lazy asses to take advantage of a free lunch time workout. Good move on our part. We were so impressed with the program that we signed up that day and have never regretted it since. My sore muscles hate me for it though.
I would highly recommend this 30-​day bootcamp whether you are interested in losing weight, getting toned, or working out with a class. Personally, I like to concentrate on the booty.
I am never going back to the same boring gym workout again. I started out taking the quick 30-​minute lunch time express camp but now stay for two classes in a row. I enjoy this boot camp so much I try to attend the evening camps when possible. Does this make me hard core? Ha!
Seriously this boot camp is amazing. It’s a full body workout. From the warm up to the stretch at the end of class, you are constantly moving. The exercises are fun and classes are small so it has a personal trainer feel to it. Which means they correct me every time I do something wrong. Even on the days that I’m sore from head to toe I still love it.
What also stands out are the instructors. Both Tyler and Martin provide lots of encouragement and enthusiasm, personal suggestions and lots of health and fitness advice. They are knowledgeable about what different exercises work for different kinds of people and have been patient with me. Their workouts are very organized and they are constantly pushing you to try your hardest and holding yourself accountable. «Endure» is a word I hear often– even in my sleep. I’m looking forward to more classes.
This is the first time in a long time I have stuck to a regular work out routine. I go home feeling energized and stronger every time. And they are very flexible, accommodating and affordable. Even if you think you can’t do a boot camp– this is the one that will prove you wrong! See ya there!

I have been to multiple different boot camps over the last 7 years, but I tell you that 30day bootcamp is the BEST boot camp ever! Not only that this one is cheaper than other ones, but also it’s very personal. While you work out with many other people in other camps, here, you get to work out in a smaller group so you get more attention from the instructors. I love that. The instructors are really funny, too.
Also, on top of the regular bootcamp stuff, they teach self-​defense for women. Since I live in Oakland alone as a woman and have to walk to and from the BART station, I always felt it was dangerous. I have taken self-​defense lessons like once a year, but I always forget the techniques after a week. Now, I learn new skills and get to practice them everyday, IF I need to use any of the techniques (I hope I won’t have such a chance though…) I can actually remember them. I LOVE all the kicking and punching! lol
I signed up for the unlimited workout membership. I think this is a better deal among all the other deals they have but check out their website and decide for yourself. After every class, I feel fabulous and confident! Anyways, if you are interested in getting fit and getting more confidence when you walk down the street of Oakland (lol), I highly recommend this bootcamp! (btw, did I tell you that I lost 8 lbs after joining 30day bootcamp??? I still have 15 more lbs to lose though… lol)
