I called at about 4:45 and asked what time they closed that day. The man who answered the phone said, «5:30.» I got there just before 5:00, and they were fully closed.

I found the quality of merchandise to be better then most pawn shops but their customer service was lacking.

In some ways Pawn Shops are just like Target but in more ways they aren’t. I didn’t enjoy my shopping experience here though I was told I could find some real good deals if I was on it.
I can see why some people use a pawn shop but that doesn’t mean I have to.

I had a rather interesting experience today with this place. I went down to see if I could pawn my blu-​ray player. I called ahead and the guy said he was interested. I bought it new for about 300 $ and before i went down there i checked how much it was going for new ($ 239) and figured I’d be able to pawn it for 70 bucks or so. I drove down there only to be offered 30 bucks while the kid offered me the lines straight out of Pawn Stars. Being nearly empty on my gas tank I decided to take the offer and for some reason the blu-​ray player wouldn’t work for him. he tried it in like 3 different plugs. I was pretty mad now because i figured i was out a blu ray player and wouldn’t be able to get home. Well, Luckily I had just enough gas to get home, and my blu ray player works perfectly fine. I am pretty much convinced that I was saved by some miraculous force for being taken for. This isn’t the only experience I have with this place Ive tried to sell them jewelry before and the guy that helped me was so rude about it, wouldnt answer any of the questions i was asking him about how they determine value and actually said «Just let me do my damn job» it wasnt the owner or his son, it was some big lug that works there. Bottom line this place will only rip you off. Looking around a lot of the stuff on the walls seemed like stuff found in a home auction. Im glad i still have my blu ray player and from now on I’ll stay to craigslist for selling anything and I suggest you do the same

Never been to a pawn shop before and just stumbled upon this goldmine of a place, as I was walking down Telegraph Temescula district and decided to just browse around. I did not inquire about jewelry and jewelry repair (but I will next time I come here). I did find this place more of a pawn shop than the name led me to believe (and the banner outside clearly stated that– musical instruments such as guitars, keyboards, clarinets, amps, camera lenses, outdoor supplies, etc). For starving musicians or if you want to sell your instrument or want to learn a new instrument, I believe I found a decent place. Sales persons are helpful and will talk to you. Though they do not have warranty on their instruments, the sales lady who I was talking to about keyboards said they knew of people who fix instruments. The sales guy also directed me to Guitar O Rama which is a few blocks down on Telegraph.
