This spot is budget, yet for nails it wasn’t cheap. It was pretty much the going rate in this area for a gel mani/​reg pedi, but ZERO frills. The place could use a bit of remodel as well, it’s looking a bit run down. That aside, what was the most disappointing was the service: no massaging. The manicure didn’t even involve soaking your hands in water? I’ve never heard of that below, but for reals, they just go to work on your hands without soaking in any water.
Their gel selection is super limited. Like super super limited. I was looking for an off-​white/​pale pink and they really didn’t have any options. Their regular selection is pretty limited as well.
The pedicure was good. The gal did do a great job on cuticles and the nail beds themselves, but again, no wining and dining here; the leg massage was 2 seconds.
Overall, if I was needing a mani on a Sunday and it couldn’t wait (which was why I ended up here in the first place), I’d come again, but that’s about it. You can get pampered around the corner for the same price. If this spot was cheaper, I’d reckon the place would fit the bill.

The staff here are amazingly particular about the jobs, they don’t rush the mani pedi but rather go through meticulous steps so you’d feel like they care about your nails as much as you do!
I have not been to a better treatment at a similar price point.

I was in desperate need of a pedicure for my upcoming trip. So after perusing Unilocal I saw the stellar recommendations of other Unilocalers and decided Unilocal rarely steers me wrong. I’m glad I found them! They are a few streets from my usual circle of places to go but really not far from me. I called and made a same day appt and found out they not only do nails but also hair, facials, eyelashes, etc. Hmm, I was cautiously optimistic because not many places could handle all of those things and doing them well.
Upon entering I was greeted promptly by Q, who I had booked a pedi appt with. Are you on lunch and tight on time? no, but I appreciate the asking!
Q and the other lady Tammy were both cutting hair. One male and one female, both haircuts looked great. Score! New hair place!
She had me pick out my polish from the shelf with a good variety of colors, now if you were used to having choices upon choices you might think these were not enough. But for me, I always go back to the same color so it was plenty for me.
Q wore a mask and new gloves, and all her tools were sealed and sanitized. She was very gentle and a little bit through my appt I asked her opinion on my short stubby nails, I am a chronic biter and I was hesitant to get tips. She assured me I could still get a mani with just my nails and if I get the gel it will help me not bite my nails and give it a chance to grow. I’m sold, so I added the gel mani. Then because I felt like I was so comfortable at home, I asked about the eyelash extension I’d always been curious about. She quoted me a price that I was fine with, being that I’m getting other services done she gave me a discount.
So I went from expecting 1 service to getting 3! Great experiences because she was in no way pushy or made me feel like she only wanted my money. It was straightforward suggestions and good ones at that.
CASH ONLY! but you are already used to that because you are in Chinatown are you not? I don’t believe in docking a star from an otherwise fantastic experience just because of how they choose to run their business.
I had chosen a watermelon color for my pedi and as she removed my last color (watermelon, I am a creature of habit) she suggested something a little flashier. I am going on vacation after all. I agreed, I just needed a better suggestion for color. she brought over 3 glitter polishes and we settled on the pink one. It’s like pink diamonds on my toes! Pedi was relaxing, my toes were getting pampered and my legs massaged. Oh and I got to sit in the massage chair for no extra cost. I’ve been to a place where if you turned on the massage chair it somehow became a Luxury pedi as opposed to regular pedi… obviously I didn’t go back there.
She suggested I get a neutral pink for my mani, and then put a glitter gradient on it. $ 5 for the design, totally worth it. i love the look and cant wait for my closeup. And this makes me want to not bite my nails because I don’t want to ruin my mani.
The eyelash extension was the big unknown, but because Q has been so good to me all the way through, gentle and meticulous, I just trusted her to do her thing. She said I had really short lashes so I can’t go too long or they would constantly break off. She also kept the fact that I wear glasses into consideration in figuring out the right length for me so the lashes dont stick into my glasses. Then it was an hour and a half of napping and I woke up to bigger eyes! I felt like Bambi! I never knew lashes were so important to eyes! The final thing that I thought was so considerate of Q was she asked for my phone number so she could text me follow up care instructions for my lashes.
The important thing was to not get them wet for the first 24 hours which I figured I can do. Then don’t rub your eyes vigorously because each lash was glued on by hand. I am going to tell everyone about the good folks at AA and next time I might get a haircut there.

Exceeded my expectations. I rarely get my nails done so I never know what to ask for. I decided on the gel french manicure. She was very diligent, professional & had great suggestions. I am super happy with my manicure. Definitely returning. Did I mention the reasonable price?

Had a mani/​pedi here today, with Tammy and Q. They did a fantastic job! Q took such care around the nail beds, cuticles, and made them look so groomed — more care than most places I’ve been. She was detailed.
I brought a male friend who also got a mani/​pedi. Along with the great grooming, he was also enthusiastic about the great massage Tammy gave his hands, showing him the acupressure points to help a contracted tendon problem in his fingers.
Great experience all around.

Love this place. My sister and I do our nails, hair, facial, eye lashes and everything we can with them regularly. They are super patient and friendly. I recommend them to all my friends who wants do any type of treatments like this. Definitely make appointments ahead of time because they have a very busy schedule! :)

I dropped in this morning for a walk-​in mani and pedi. They only have one station for each so it’s best to call ahead and make an appointment. I loved both treatments. They were relaxing, soothing, and well-​done. The massage chair for the pedicure was one of the most comfortable I’ve been on. Tools came from a sterilized and sealed pouch, which is a HUGE plus in my book. Only good words for this place!

A tiny shop that is big on service. I go in every couple of weeks because I am way too lazy to do my own nails. They are extremely friendly, very thorough, and give great hand and leg massages. And the price is right. They are trying to get me to move out of my standard red toenails… I’ll consider it!

Just walked in to try and get a pedicure. The place was 100% empty. I asked if I could get a pedicure the woman responded with food in her mouth «no, you have to wait» I asked how long she responded «2 hours» are you effing kidding me… who would wait that long!!! I’ll. ever go back here again.

I got shellac for my fingernails. The manicurist helped me pick a color that was perfect for my skin color, upon doing my nails she suggested some glitter for design.
I absolutely love my nails right now. She was great, the tools she uses are sterilized and sealed. When my nails were finished, she gave me the files and buffer to take home. The brush she used to apply the polish was also wiped down and put away. I don’t know about other people but u love knowing everything is super clean.
One note is: these people speak Cantonese (and probably chinese) their English is probably not great but I’m sure they’re still very nice.

Made an appointment for mani pedi based on Unilocal reviews. Arrived 15 minutes before my scheduled time and was warmly greeted, and treatment started early. One of the best mani pedis. Very thorough and attention to detail. Place is very clean. Instruments were fresh out of a sealed sterilization bag. Very pleasant experience. Plenty of street parking. I’ll be back.

Spent over two hours for a bikini and full legs wax.
I have easy to remove hair and am usually out in half an hour.
Probably was unlucky but the lady that took care of me was clearly incompetent. Complete disaster.
After all that time on the table, I’m left with entire sections of back unwanted hair.
Not recommending at all, at least this particular employee, not recognizing their sub-​standard work when confronted to it and still charging $ 80.

I received a wonderful, thorough pedicure from Tami. This was my first time visiting and I will absolutely return! There is only one pedicure chair, so I imagine sometimes there will be a wait. However, I went on Friday morning and was seated immediately. Facilities are clean and look quite new. Tami was very sweet and paid great attention to detail. The colors were somewhat limited, but the massage chair was awesome, service was excellent (including leg and foot massage), and it only cost me $ 15! I couldn’t believe it. An absolute bargain compared to the $ 30-​$ 35 prices I usually encounter. As I said, I will absolutely return in the future!

I do my hair there every time. I love there. The environment is great. The place is clean. The owner is nice and always gives me good advice.

$ 16 for a pedicure, including removal of old polish! also– Cash only! Walked in, no wait on a Thursday afternoon. She was very gentle and didn’t use all the tools to their full capacity. The place is small — one pedicure chair, one manicure station, 3 hair cut stations and a hair wash station– and clean. For the price, you can’t beat it with a stick

For $ 25 you get both hands and feet treatment. When I’m saying treatment, it means more than just soak+paint your nails but literally treat them like babies with lotion/​oil massage (which is short but… awesome)

Only two ladies are working here, so call in to make an appointment to avoid any wait. I walked in though, waiting 30min or so which is totally fine by me.
I did not get any gel nails or design but the basic color.

Very clean and friendly. And extremely thorough with attention to detail. They completely scrubbed my soles unlike any other pedicure I have ever had. Great price!
