SCAMMERS!!! If I can give negative 5 stars I would, 1 star is giving them to much credit. If you want a tow truck to come within 30 mins then go with this company but that will cost you $ 250 for 15miles, like it did for me. I’ve had my car towed before, for more than 15 miles, that cost me $ 50 – 60, so $ 250 was unexpectedly high! And that’s not even the worst part… Customer service is unbelievably RUDE! My boyfriend called after receiving the bill to make sure if it was correct and what are all the charges that made the bill $ 250. The customer service rep, named Diana, told him that it ranges from $ 7 – 10 per mile, and that there is a 50 dollar hook up fee and the difficulty of the job and that was the end of their phone conversation. Her explanation did not clarify the breakdown of the charges so I decided to call back and ask for the breakdown and Diana gave me an attitude and said «I already explained everything to your boyfriend» and that’s when I asked her «what determine if it’s $ 7 or $ 10 per mile?» Instead of giving me an answer, she repeated herself and hung up on me!!! So I called back to talk to a manager and he was basically careless and rude just as Diana. No wonder his employee is rude. And then his answer was that our car was a Bwm so it cost more for a luxury car and thats was why it was $ 10 per mile. When did that ever mattered?! And why wasnt ANY of this info released to us? So basically it cost me $ 150 for the miles and then $ 50 to hook up the car, which is part of TOWING right!!! And then they charge me another $ 50 due to difficulty?! It’s their job to tow!!! So basically the total bill amount is finalized by the driver? Is that the how it works? Sounds like he gave himself a commission. They didn’t give a quote over the phone and now I know exactly why… So they can SCAM innocent people like ourselves that they know is desperate for a tow. I’ve never been so more disgusted with a company like this one in my life.

$ 140 for a technician to put a spare on. Highly disappointed because the technician didn’t even inspect the tire he took off.

Used this towing company twice in the past year when AAA was to busy or said it was not an emergency tow that was covered by my plan. They were terrific. Skillful and courteous. Don’t understand the few negative reviews here, I would call them before AAA in the future.

Kids an I went out to feed the Ducks, returned to the car to find out engine will not turn over. Long story short. Dispatch was OK. the tow guy thumbs up. He couldn’t tow the car with two kids in it. So he called… it’s something like a taxi I forget the name. Anyway he made sure me and my kids got home safely. Shouts out to the driver.

Total Scam. They quote you one thing over the phone and charge you three times as much when they show up. Stay away.

Total crooks!!! Tried to add a $ 400 charge for «liability insurance» at the time of the drop off. Driver tried to get in my face when I refused to pay. Was quoted $ 300 but ended up being $ 490 for 26 miles and would have been $ 890 with their added liability insurance. Oh did I mention the 4% convenience fee. Fu**ing crooks.

Total scam. Somehow my simple 10 minute battery replacement was charged the full labor fee? I expected a mark up on the battery, but the amount I was charged is criminal and left me in tears.
What was I thinking. I should have just signed up for AAA and gotten a free tow to the batter outlet 5 minutes away where I would have just paid $ 10 for install.
CRIMINALS! Taking advantage of stranded people. Left me in tears.

These guys are thieves!!! DO NOT USE THEM! They charged $ 140 for a jump, what’s up with that? Our insurance company is trying to contact them about the charge and they will not answer the phone. STAY CLEAR or ADAR of whatever they are calling themselves this week. The number I used was 510−470−0518.

I was hustled my vehicles is broke down and we call no quote over the phone then when he gets there they wouldn’t quote me either then puts my car on his truck I give him the address he quoted me a outrages price then I ask him to put my car back on the street and he tells me I owe 175 or he will take my car and sell it so I get strong armed for a couple mile tow for 175 don’t use this company I’m paying a local company a third of the price for something they wanted please save yourself money he even bragged about a140 dollar jump he did

I got robbed :(I called and just like the others my car being towed from Los Gatos to East San Jose cost a total of $ 215!!! What a joke… And the guy was slimy and I felt very uncomfortable the way he was looking at me. GROSS dude.

My son locked his keys in his car. Called this towing company as he could not contact AAA and they totally ripped him off! Charged him $ 85 for labor $ 55 for an extra person? And tax. Most expensive lock out ever! Never use this company ever! They are CROOKS!

I was tricked by the Palo Alto page that makes it seems like they have
a Palo Alto location.
Anyway today I needed a jump for my dead battery.
I called and the dispatcher said it would take less than 30 minutes. I said okay and proceeded to wait. At 30 minutes I get a call from the driver. He’s says he’ll be there in 30 minutes… okay…He gets there in about 50.
We jump the car. I ask for a discount for waiting Over an hour more than I was told. He says sure. He gives me a 20 dollar discount.
Then he shows me the bill, 100 dollars… after 20 dollar discount.
He can’t even get the numbers right in this head. He says its 55 for the service call, and 45 for the jump. Then he says actually the jump is 65. Right a 65 dollar jump NOT including the service. I think he just added the «discount» right back into the price.
I had to get to work, and wasn’t willing to argue anything really so I just paid and left. Do use these guys.

I was stuck on the side of the road because I have dead battery. I don’t have AAA so I decide to call auto towing. I told the lady Over the phone about my dead battery and she said she would send out the towing truck to come over and get my car. I was relieved when I saw the towing truck only 30min later. Auto towing gave me a really good price for the towing service. I recommend Auto towing for any roadside assistance you might need.

They did the work quickly, but charged the highest possible price for the lockout, when I was quoted a range of prices on the phone. It was an easy unlock, since he only had to hit the power lock switch.

Waited for over an hour when they said it would be 30 min. I repeatedly called to check in and they kept saying someone would be here in 15 min.
I called another company, Courtesy Tow, and they arrived before 24 Hour. So I called 24 Hour to tell them not to come and they yelled at me telling me I cannot call another tow company and that they are still going to charge me and call the cops! He put me on hold, hung up on me, and then refused to answer my subsequent calls.
The guy from Courtesy finished changing my tire shortly after the other tow truck rolled by. The 24 Hour truck thankfully didn’t hassle me, the only positive part of our exchange. Courtesy Tow also only charged me $ 75 compared to the $ 86-​$ 115 quoted by 24 Hour. What sleeze balls.

Thieves, pure and simple. Thieves just like some third world country. Do not even think about using these people.

Came out to find out I had a flat tire (front right). I called Auto Towing and I admit they did show up reasonably fast. Maybe 30 min. However the lady on the phone would not give me an estimated price, she said wait for the tow truck driver to give me the price.
When he got there he said since it was rear wheel drive he had to use a special dolly thing on my front right tire or else pulling it from the front would damage my transmission. I know he was not lying however the price was outrageous! 250.00!!!
I told him thats way to much because I just got off the phone with another tow truck company and they said 127.00 I told him I would call someone else and he said I owed him 20.00 for him driving out. Since I was not notified this on the phone I told him NO. He argued a bit but finally left as I got on the phone with the other tow truck company (KEN BETTS TOWING) and ignored him.

I used this towing service last month when my car got a flat tire. I was driving home from the Oakland airport over to to Berkeley. It was after-​dark so I felt nervous about pulling over at night by myself on the freeway. Thank god for cell phones.
I found them by calling 411 (I said cell phone, not smart phone) Their dispatch got to my car quickly, towed my car and gave me a ride too, so I felt super safe and taken care of.
This week I used them again — this time to tow an old Volvo that had been sitting in my driveway for too long. I called these guys and liked their service again.
I hope I never have a flat tire again the nighttime situation, but I would call these guys again anytime I’m in need for towing.

STAY CLEAR!!! I called this company after getting a flat tire on I80. Not only did they never show up but they charged my card $ 55. Unfortunately I gave them my debit card so I’m still disputing the charge.
My advice call 511 and say ‘freeway aid’. The bay area offers free freeway patrol for a flat tire, jump start, or will even bring a gallon of gas if you’re out — all for FREE!

I had a dead battery on 4^th & Brannan, San Francisco. I called the first website I found. Big mistake. «Sure, ma’am; We can be there in 15 minutes.
I received that line 5 times over the next hour & a half. I finally got a jump from a good samaritan! They called back from several different numbers 408−219−3177 & 800−518−8687. If you get a call back from any of these numbers, call someone new. They aren’t coming!
