I always feel that I give fair reviews. It is unfortunate that some businesses choose to discriminate against those who 1) give them less than 5 star reviews and/or 2) leave comments and feedback that they(the business) find less than stellar. That is my experience with Judy Bobbitt. I received an email from her last week offering a Thanksgiving special on her massages. Although I was a little surprised that she was offering a discount based upon her past comments, I decided to purchase the massage and booked online for this evening. When I booked the massage, I left a message that I was healing from a back injury and that she should avoid the lower back area. It took me 45 minutes in rush hour traffic to drive to Carmel. After I got there, she made a comment that she was surprised that I came back. WTF?! Then, she refused to give me the massage using my back injury as an excuse! Of course, her refusal came AFTER she had me undress and get on the table. Lovely, huh? I’ll bet that once she left the room, she checked her reviews and saw the second one by Gena, and then Judy made the decision to use my back injury as an excuse to not do the massage. Word of advice: She clearly also discriminates against people with disabilities. I’m certainly not disabled, but since she wants to use the excuse about my back injury to refuse service, despite my telling her that my doctor has cleared me to get massage, what other reasons will she give people? And Gena… I’d be very wary about booking an appointment with Judy now… once she reads your review, she’ll find an excuse to not honor your LivingSocial certificate. If I were you, I’d contact LivingSocial and let them in on her practices.
