Beto’s Plumbing and Rooter

Beto helped me install a shutoff valve and pressure regulator as well as upgrade my pipes from the meter to copper. He did a great job, understood exactly what I needed and made suggestions on how to improve my original plan. He’s personable, professional, hard working, and had the best bid on the job.

I have some positives and some negatives. Beto was able to be very flexible with when he showed up to do my bid — I have a tight schedule, and he was able to work within it. I had to keep changing times, and he worked around me. That’s important to me. His bid came in *super* low. *Way* lower than anybody else. That’s the good stuff.
The not so good stuff is that he left a mess on my floor — walked muck from his boots, and dripped line gunk all over my kitchen. He initially gave a bid that only included half of what I needed done — which would have left me with half of my plumbing stranded. And then I found out that part of the reason that the bid was *so* low was that not only did it not include replacing tile and linoleum (which I didn’t expect) but it also didn’t include things like replacing the plywood subflooring, so that he could replace the toilet. («You will have to have someone else put that back, and then I’ll put the toilet back.») That left me really wondering what else wouldn’t be done when he left. I did have him do a bit of small work on my house, to see what his work was like before I decided on him for the «big» job, and it just felt rushed, and like he was trying to do the minimal job in the minimal time — I had to stand and supervise and make sure that the job was done completely, and then when he hit a «rough» spot, he said, «Well, I guess we can’t go any farther, we’re done.» Meanwhile, he stood there and watched while his assistant did *all* of the work. And, part of what I’d asked him to do (and still ended up paying him for) didn’t get done, because he didn’t have the tool he needed.

Beto rocks! He came twice to rooter my sewer. He came within a couple of hours and did a really good job. When I’d had enough if the silly thing backing up he replaced it for a very reasonable cost. Now Eve bought a new place and the lateral needs to be replaced per local law. I fully expect Beto to pull a rabbit out of the hat again! My realtor asked for his info, so Beto might have to expand!

I am a local Real Estate Broker and have used Beto’s service for 5 years. He is always prompt, reasonable & professional. I have referred him to my family as well and he is top notch. Once, my mother had a terrible back up and did not have a clean out, so Beto came to her house THAT DAY and installed one very reasonably. Beto rocks!

I called him this morning at 8:30 am to come and snake the sink in the kitechen. He asked me to text him the address which I did right away. He was supposed to be at my house before 12. It was 11:30 am since I have not heard from him, I called him back and he said he got another job and he can not come to my house. He didnt even bother to call me back so that I could find someone else.
I didnt go to work and waited for him 3 hours for no reason!

Beto’s plulmbing is a breathe of fresh air. I have a few houses that i that i do property management for. Beto’s plumbing is honest & efficient. When they start work they don’t stop until the work is all done. They are very considerate of peoples times and schedules. Their rates are very fair you never fell overcharge. After many plumbers I have finally found a company whos intriguity, work ethics, and quality of work is beyond questioning.
