Bianca is a lovely person and excellent acupuncturist. I would highly recommend a visit to her.
I have only given four stars because I have issues with the offfices billing practices. Being a preferred provider for insurance usually requires agreeing to a reduced rate. Some providers then charge for additional services to compensate. My insurance was billed $ 410– $ 470 per visit for each acupuncture visit, and the office was paid $ 175-​$ 207. Since this is above what is charged for a normal visit I have issues with it.

I first met Bianca after two years of failed attempts to gain movement, use and lessen the pain of a hand post-​op! Let’s just say she was a long cool drink on a parched mouth! I have more mobility, fluid movement, range of motion and less pain in my hand as well as better overall health and mental well being than I have felt in the past three years from my initial injury. Where Eastern Medicine failed she succeeded! Not only did she treat me for the condition I stated I was there for; she, with her amazing knowledge of the body pathways and uncanny ability of finding «problem areas», also recognized and treated underlying issues. She is thoughtful, honest, kind, gentle, diligent, tenacious, relentless, KNOWLEDGEABLE and without a doubt GIFTED in the art and mastery of healing! Medicine or magic… either way, she is the one to see!

Bianca is the real deal, folks. She’s long been on the healing path, first as a massage therapist and now an expert acupuncturist. It’s been amazing to witness her dedication to further her education, blending east and west. It’s high time acupuncture becomes mainstream and integrates into our healthcare system. Bianca is on the leading edge of that change.
On a more personal note, Bianca’s treatments have noticeably improved my health and quality of life. Her «needle whisperer» skills compliment her holistic approach beautifully. I feel lucky to know her and to be under her care.

I went to Bianca for my first acupuncture treatment in six years. And then my second. And soon, my third!!! Why in heck didn’t I do this sooner? She and her services are a gift, and her gentle treatment of TMJ and migraines left me feeling absolutely melty. Yum.

Bianca truly has healing hands. She is adept at pinpointing (pun intended) your individual needs and providing the best treatment plan. I have felt relaxed during the treatments and feel renewed energy. Although I don’t quite understand how it’s done, I know that my overall well-​being has improved.

I have been lucky to be under Bianca’s care for some time now and let me tell you: she works magic! Her treatments always relieve any stress I am experiencing. I need to write an update to my experiences with Bianca… It’s been over a year now that I have been going to her. She is the one who mentioned to me that the pain in my back seemed to be in a different area than my doctors had assumed and diagnosed. It turned out not only did I have a stress fracture in my hip, which needed emergency surgery for! I also was being treated by my back doctors for the wrong problem! Because of Bianca’s knowledge of my pain, she helped me to find out what my REAL problems were. Ironic, it seems Eastern medicine is more attuned to the body, than Western! Thank you, Bianca for your wonderful acupuncture treatments! I will keep coming to you, maybe forever!

Bianca’s facial treatments are a dream. Are you thinking that your face is showing years of stress or age or too much sun? Get thee to Bianca. After just one facial acupuncture treatment, I started fielding comments from friends saying I looked so healthy, or glowing, or pretty, etc. Just one treatment made a noticeable difference.
And it doesn’t do her practice justice to only focus on the vanity-​pleasing parts of her skill set. Bianca is also all the things a Chinese acupuncturist doctor should be: a good listener, fabulous at treating the everyday blockages in the body-​general, and right on with herbal supplements.
I highly recommend her services.

I highly recommend Bianca for both acupuncture and massage. My husband went to her for back pain and experienced lasting relief from an old injury that he’s been dealing with for years. I’ve gone to her for a variety of issues, and she’s always known exactly how to deal with whatever’s going on. If you can swing it, the massage/​acupuncture combo is well worth it.

I have been seeing Bianca for acupuncture and massage treatments for about 10 months now. Initially I was a bit skeptical on the benefits of acupuncture. I started seeing Bianca, mainly for chronic back pain due to scoliosis. At the time I was also 7 months pregnant. Besides getting treatment and relief for back pain; I have had acupuncture treatments for: heartburn, back acne (while pregnant), uterine toning for childbirth, headaches, cough, cold and congestion. I have been amazed at the results and that acupuncture can help with such a variety of aliments.
I have had acupuncture before by a different therapist, I didn’t receive anywhere near the relief I have experienced with Bianca. Very quickly, Bianca learns your body and your trouble spot and how to give relief to those spots. She has a natural intuition about her craft that is inspiring. She is SUPER friendly and has lots of knowledge on herbs and other holistic remedies.
I would highly recommend her to any family or friends.

Bianca is very skilled well trained acupuncturist. I hate painful acupuncture treatment usually, but with her, I can just relax and don’t need to worry about if needles will hurt me or not at all!
I used to have the stress related problem a lot and she was the one took care of me well before I moved… I miss Bianca’s treatment so much!!!

Massage is one of those few areas where I can unhesitatingly and without reservation make an enthusiastic recommendation (and that’s saying a lot from me as I almost always feel compelled to qualify every statement and recommendation I make — the scourge of once being in science).
I started seeing Bianca a year or so ago at the recommendation of my fiancée, who in turn, was recommended to Bianca by Dennis von Elgg (an acupuncturist my fiancée started seeing b/​c he was voted best of the bay by the East Bay Express). I’ve been seeing Bianca fairly regularly ever since.
Prior to Bianca, I’ve had a handful of different massage experiences: some fancy spa in Scottsdale, AZ (after backpacking for a weekend); Osmosis (that crazy cedar chip enzyme bath place up in Freestone); a couple of different people at Piedmont Springs; and another one at some other place on Piedmont or maybe Grand.
Other than the massage at Osmosis (the therapist’s name was Tor) which was pretty good, none of the other ones deserve to be called massages when compared to what Bianca does. It’s not that the other massages were bad, it’s just that it doesn’t seem right to use the same word for both things. It’s like, sure, a house cat and a tiger are both cats… And, yes, if you were to see a tiger walking down your street, it would technically be correct to say «Holy shit, there’s a cat walking down the street.» But it wouldn’t be until you followed that up with «Run!» that the enormity of the situation would even start to become clear. Whereas, «Holy shit, there’s a tiger…» or even just «Tiger!» makes things real clear, real fast.
So, why do I think Bianca is so good? It’s because she’s cares, she’s very intuitive/​knowledgeable, she’s super strong, and she is good at communicating.
The caring thing, while not sufficient by itself, goes a long way. I feel like she is motivated to cure my aches and pains and that she genuinely cares about how I’m doing. The short of it is real simple: people who care about what they’re doing always do a better job. But, there’s also an intangible aspect to compassion that’s hard to put into words but it seems to me that it’s an important basis for any type of healing (including massage), and Bianca definitely has it.
On top of that, Bianca either has an incredible understanding of how the human body is put together or else an amazing intuition and ability to sense what the body needs and how it is responding. Or perhaps both. She can ease her way into and then work out muscle tightness and the deepest of knots. She can apply an enormous amount of force when she needs to but seems to always know when and where that is appropriate. And, when she’s uncertain, she’ll ask. Plus, her massages FEEL GOOD — I always leave them in a blissed-​out, zoned-​out, euphoric, happy state.
More recently, we’ve started incorporating acupuncture into the massage. And, while we haven’t been doing it long enough to know for sure, the early results are encouraging. The combination of acupuncture and massage seems to provide deeper and more lasting release.

Bianca is absolutely wonderful. I see her regularly for both massage and acupuncture, for both chronic muscle pain and sciatica. Thanks to Bianca, my pain levels have gone way down. At fIrst, I saw Bianca only for massage. I had never had acupuncture before, though I knew from friends and family how effective it could be. Because I trusted Bianca, I was willing to try the acupuncture — and it has reached some deep tissue pain and stiffness in my back that was very difficult to reach by massage and so had been nagging me for months. Bianca also is the one who diagnosed my sciatica — when I saw my doctor and described my pain, and told her that my massage therapist thought it was sciatica — she said that I have a VERY smart massage therapist.
Bianca is not only brilliant — but also incredibly warm and compassionate (not to mention super strong). She strikes a great balance between being completely professional and respectful, and being friendly, having a sense of humor, and putting you at ease. Being skilled is one thing, having a great «bedside manner» and making your clients comfortable is another — Bianca has it all. It is obvious how dedicated she is to her work and she is so knowledgeable about different remedies and techniques. She strives to tailor the treatments so that you can get both what you want and what will be effective — for example, she sometimes does both acupuncture and massage in one session for very effective AND soothing treatments.
I also know it can be hard to make room in a budget for something like massage or acupuncture. This is another thing that Bianca understands very well — she is so considerate of her clients and charges incredibly reasonable rates and refuses tips — another example of how straightforward she is, and how she strives to make you comfortable. If you are suffering at all, getting treatment from Bianca is well worth it. She is just fabulous.

I’m beyond thrilled to use my first Unilocal review to recommend Bianca as a massage therapist (and soon, licensed acupuncturist!) — though I also fear I could never do her work justice. Bianca has been a gift of light and healing in my life, and I am grateful for the referral that brought me to her.
Bianca’s massages are the best I have ever experienced, beyond question. I have a 12 year history of chronic headaches, neck and back pain, and I have seen a LOT of massage therapists (not to mention chiropractors, doctors, acupuncturists, etc.) over this time, so I do not say this lightly. But I can also say it without hesitation. I credit Bianca with the vast improvement in my back since I began seeing her several months ago.
Bianca is full of compassion and good intentions towards her clients. Her small hands are so incredibly strong — and what’s more, intuitive and intelligent. She also has superbly effective techniques — for example, she is particularly good at releasing tension at the occiput and around the neck and head, and her thoughtful use of cupping and other eastern methods has brought marked improvement for my back. Soon she will be incorporating needling techniques and I am practically drooling in anticipation of that day. In addition, though Bianca brings a blessed ability to dig deep into the places that need release, she is great at communicating and responding to my needs if I want something less strenuous.
Another thing I LOVE about Bianca is her thoughtfulness and professionalism. She’s the only massage therapist I’ve ever been to who uses set prices and does not allow tips. It’s amazing how relaxing this is as a client — I don’t have to spend any portion of the massage wondering if it is «tip-​worthy» (though with Bianca, the answer is unvaryingly «yes») and if so, how much. It really changes the nature of the experience.
Plus, her prices are reasonable and EXTREMELY worth it!

Whenever I need a good, strong, thorough massage, I go to Bianca. She is excellent, experienced, consistent, and professional and I always feel great after seeing her. She practices in a beautiful acupuncture clinic but is also willing to come to my house if I need. She uses really nice oils and does mostly Swedish style I think. She is in acupuncture school so is aware of all the meridians and their therapeutic value and seems to incorporate them into her massage. I highly recommend her and find her massage to be both therapeutic and totally indulgent.
