I’ve been treating myself to massages at a variety of spas/studios 2 to 3 times a year for about 15 years. A few years ago I found Beth and now I can’t go anywhere else. The massage itself is always amazing, but what hooks me is Beth’s calming energy, warmth, and compassion. I feel perfectly at ease in her space and under her touch. I also appreciate that she checks in occasionally, but then knows when I’ve fallen asleep. Which I do every time. I would follow Beth anywhere.

When I tell people that I’m a massage therapist, they always say, «Oh, so you get lots of massages, huh?». Um, NO! I GIVE lots of massages, but I can’t massage myself, and unfortunately, they don’t tell you when you sign up to be a massage therapist that you’re about to ruin that part of your life. Massage is never the same, because every time someone touches you, you’re picking the entire experience apart. You lay there thinking, «Oh, I wouldn’t do it like that.» Or, if you happen to get a good massage, you’re analyzing it and inquiring about that special move they just did. It kinda sucks, so I don’t get massages as often as I need because I’m super critical about who touches me. That said, if I tell you that someone is good and that you should definitely get on their table, you should run there… fast! Beth is an incredible healer. She’s more that just a MT, she is an energy worker. If you don’t know what that means, or if you don’t believe in energy, that’s okay! You’ll feel the difference. Her hands are always warm(that’s energy, folks), and her touch will put you at ease immediately. Her pressure is perfect and she uses a slow, patient, and deliberate pace. I got off the table feeling human again and she even managed to put me into a trance where time stood still. That never happens! Today, I am feeling refreshed, but I’m not sore despite the serious tension she had to work through. I slept like a baby and my carpal tunnel is feeling much better. So, get there and congratulate her on taking the leap of courage it takes to strike out on your own. Congratulations, Beth! You’ll do great!
