Yummy breakfast sandwiches for only $ 4! I love their spam musubi. The workers are always so friendly and sweet. Delicious milk tea and the boba is super soft! You can even alter the sweetness of your milk tea which I find great because some milk teas can be too sweet. 4 Stars!

Walk in order a cup coffee. No other customers in line. Register and barista employee star talking. Waited for about 8 or 10 min. Oh I forgot your coffee! No apologies.

So I used to LOVE this place. The fact that its literally right across from my work is very convenient for me. But… I don’t like how they’re closed almost all the time. How do you succeed with your business if you are closed most of the time. I’m still going to come back… whenever their open.

Great for a cheap, tasty sandwich. $ 4 for all the basic stuff: all of their sandwiches are scrambled egg, cheese, mayo, lettuce, toasted white or wheat bread, and choice of ham, spam, chicken, or pork sausage. Comfort food to the max. Really cheap boba tea, too! Only $ 2 with a sandwich. $ 4 musubi is also good if you’re not very hungry(or if, like me, you just crave seaweed). The only reason they get 4 stars is that it has a weird atmosphere… no music, employees are rarely seen, and the floors look dirty. Take yours to-go or prepare to sit in a mostly empty room, alone, listening to nothing but the whirring fridge.

Just stopped by here to check out Deejis Café… only to find that it has closed, and that Cat’s Café #1 has now opened up in the same location. Unlike the cakes that Deejis had available, Cat’s Café only had tiny macarons and cupcakes in the display case. Their drinks menu was pretty small, but they seemed to have a decent variety of milk teas, fruit infused tea drinks, and even milkshakes. I decided to go with a mango green tea with boba, only to be told that they were out of boba. When I asked about a grass jelly drink, the woman at the front told me that they were out of grass jelly. I finally settled on the mango green tea, and she asked me if I wanted any additions(lychee jelly, mango stars, or rainbow jelly). I went with the rainbow jelly. My friends and I were the only customers inside, but there was a couple sitting at a small table outside with drinks. It only took a couple of minutes for my mango green tea to come out and while it wasn’t terrible, I would probably never order it again. At least the rainbow jelly was pretty good. There’s a decent number of seats and tables inside, and this place could probably make a good hangout spot, but there was the heady scent of cleaning products wafting from behind the counter that I just couldn’t ignore. Cat’s Café #1 is situated near a lot of other eateries so there’s stiff competition. I admire the fact that they’re trying to do a lot of things — drinks, sandwiches, breakfast, etc., but I think it might be best for them to specialize in one or two things really well, and then maybe expand from there once they’ve built a solid following with lots of traffic into the café. I think they’d do well to focus on lots of bubble tea drinks with great boba because for the boba-holics around the area, it beats walking all the way down to Chinatown. Also, since it’s called Cat’s Café #1, maybe they can have more cutesy décor. I like the little sticker of a cat’s silhouette that they placed on my cup, but they could deck out the interior just a bit more to give it some personality. Just my two cents. I know it’s not easy to run a café or restaurant, and I really wish this place the best of luck.

It says closed at 6pm but I came here at 6:10pm and it was still open! My rating is based only on their croissant sandwich, I cant comment on any of their tea or desserts. I ordered the croissant sandwich with pork sausage egg and cheese. It was the best croissant sandwich I ever had! Everything was made fresh and on the spot. The eggs were perfectly done, and I’m very picky about the doneness of my eggs. The cheese wasn’t grilled too much; the sausage was only slightly too salty for my taste, and the croissant was toasted well and very moist. Even something so simple can taste delicious if done properly and this place shows it. I will be back to try some of their tea/desserts.

I stop here on a lunch break and I wanted to check this place out. I tried a sample of their rose green tea! It was great, most of these milk tea places taste too much sweet but they made me a one with half sugar. I ended up getting a rose green tea with lychee jelly and a ham egg cheese croissant combo which is amazing! They also have a variety of add– one like aloe, mango jelly, lychee jelly, rainbow jelly, boba, red bean and more. They also had a lot of food that makes me want to come back to check out this place!!!

Definitely not impressed at all! Takoyaki from frozen and was still cold inside. Slow service. Powder in milk tea is still not dissolved. Will not be going back any time soon. Only plus is location from my work.
