Their vegetables are not bad … pretty fresh. Their meats are very fresh and delicious. Workers are very friendly too.

I went back there with the bf to get some ribs for a bbq at a friend’s house last weekend, and discovered their pigs are from both California and Canadian farms.
When I asked the really jovial butcher «Why Canada?» He chuckled and said that Canadian pigs are generally leaner than American pigs.
I noticed that even though there were about 10 – 15 carcasses sitting out in the back of the butcher’s chopping block, the place never smelled bad. Actually, the whole place smelled NICE!
For about 6.25 lbs (2 whole rib racks), we paid around $ 17 and some change.
All of the butchers speak excellent English.
