Corners Cafe

I was looking for a quick place to eat a quick meal and these guys made that happen. I came in to see it was closed but they right away asked me what I wanted to order and made it in less than 10 minutes. Great friendly guys:) Thanks again!

Corners Café was great. They catered a bussiness meeting for my organization and everything turned out great. Lasagna was excellent lemonade was nice and sweet. Look to them to cater your next event. Monies go to support a good cause.

This café is a hidden gem of Oakland. It has outgoing youth producing high quality tasty dishes at excellent prices. I am surprised that its been kept a secret for so long.
I love the fact that they don’t serve any pork products and offer so many options — substitutions are no issue at this café!
I also love the daily specials — under $ 5 for a basic breakfast — eggs, toast and turkey sausage patties? Yes its totally possible.
A hot lunch for under $ 10? — yes — the world has turned on its head — I had the Lasagna special — a generous portion of lasagna with mixed greens salad and a piece of garlic bread — beautiful to look at and even better to eat.
They even have extended the hours they are open till 4pm, serving till 3:45pm on everyday except Wednesday when they are open till 6pm.
I also love the fact that when I spend money at this café I am helping sustain my local community and helping empower the local youth.
Good Deeds can taste good. So hurry up and come find out exact what a good deed tastes like.

The food is delicious, fresh and affordable — and not only that, you’re supporting job training and self-​determination for youth in East Oakland — so it’s a win-​win!
And they have a great catering biz, so think of them when you need food that both nourishes your body and helps to build a world that works for everyone.

Located at the entrance of Youth Uprising in Oakland, this café is run completely by youth. With flat screen monitors wrapping 2 walls and wireless service you can grab a café, juice, sandwich or meal and surf online.
The emphasis is on fresh and tasty made by overachieving, pleasant teenagers from East Oakland. The food is surprisingly good, healthy and geared for a teenager’s purse so you are sure to get a good deal. This have it your way type of generation will allow you to add or substitute just about anything on the menu. The fries are killer.
Stop in, support the kids, support your stomach with a good healthy meal.
