I don’t take the opportunity to promote Cosmic Chocolate like I should. If you haven’t tried something from their amazing selection, you HAVE to just try it. I know, some of you crazies out there don’t like chocolate. Well there’s a solution for you, too! In addition to their mouthwatering assortments of your very own piece of ecstasy, they give back to the community and support issues or organizations they agree or believe in. they were a supporter of our first 5k event last year. I couldn’t thank them enough, but what I can do is try to describe the flavors to all of my friends!

Fabulous concept that follows through with amazing flavor. I cannot wait to taste the next round of flavor combinations. I give them as gifts at work and they are always successful!

Found this place while searching for a café with wifi on telegraph. Kizaia(sp? sorry) was sooo nice. She chatted with me and offered me a free sample. it was delicious so i ended up buying a couple. Haven’t tried them yet but I have a feeling they’ll be divine. It was tucked back in a sweet, sunny courtyard. Check it out

Most of the unusual flavors are delicious(tequila coke, surprisingly so) – some are a miss for me, but everything is made with care and quality, samples are offered up with cheerful service, and while I understand the prices reflect the care and quality, it’s still quite expensive. Great for gifts, though, because the presentation is so wonderful and unpretentious.

I tried Cosmic Chocolate at a wine tasting event this weekend. The little bon-bons are works of art and utterly delicious. If you’re a chocolate fiend and love the artistry that goes into making something truly unique, you’ll appreciate these little treats. I really liked the passion fruit heart truffles and thought the chocolates with a caricature of Barack Obama were clever.

I tasted their chocolate at a Wine Mine champagne pairing event last Saturday. I thought their bombs(I think that was what they were giving out) were really good, especially with the champagne. They had some really cute little boxes of chocolates for valentines day. I like that they are right here in Oakland too!

I have yet to visit because I am on a no chocolate diet for three weeks! :(But they just sent me a coupon for a free bark if I buy an 8 piece assortment, so I checked out their website(someone spent a lot of time on that one) and it looks like really good stuff, and their hazelnut bark sounds amazing! And right around the corner! I have to wait two more weeks… but I will be there! Anyone else been?
