Alicia is one of the most creative, thoughtful, empathetic and personable people I’ve talked to! I reached out to her when I was looking for help finding clarity during a rough patch in life. On the phone, she gently helped me visualize what it would look like and feel like to achieve my goals — as well as the cost of muddling through. She is super present and it seems like she really wants to help her clients succeed. Though life ultimately took us on different directions (through no fault of Alicia’s; I would have loved to work with her if the time was right), she really helped me in the time we spent together. I worked with Alicia for about six months, focusing on my writing. Within that time, I decided that I wanted to pursue my MFA in Creative Writing, was accepted to three different programs, had two short stories accepted for publication and learned to better incorporate my writing into my daily practices. Alicia really helped me tighten my focus on my goals, and find lots of positive, pragmatic steps to take along the way. Plus, she’s so vibrant and fun that I had a great time every time we had a session! I cannot thank Alicia enough for the positive impact she has had on my life, my creativity, and my personal well-​being. Would recommend to anyone looking to jumpstart their creative potential!

I worked with Alicia for a couple of months on bringing more playfulness and depth into my performance and my life in general.
Some of the material we ended up working with was way deeper and more powerful than I expected. From playful visualization and embodiment down to the depth of my shadow issues, Alicia handled all of the parts of me that needed to be witnessed with grace and kindness. She consistently offered practices and tools to play with, and encouraged me to stay in the spirit of play with them.
I reinvigorated my passion for performing, and connected to some old wounded parts that I’m now better equipped to take care of and attend to on my own. I’d recommend Alicia to anyone on a healing path with a love of expression, play, and performance!

Alicia provided provocative questions and led me down a path of discovery of what it is I want and what is blocking me from getting from here to my future self. I felt heard and appreciated. Her coaching style is a fit for me to stretch out of my comfort zone to activating full expression of my gifts now. And this was all accomplished in our first intake session!

In my first session with Alicia, I felt absolutely safe to be exactly as I am and explore my inner landscape. Yay! I’m a fan of Alicia. I had one coaching session with her and it was well worth the hour and $. It was fresh, something i hadn’t encountered before, and i moved through a lot in just an hour. I have her (and everything she taught me) in my toolbox now, and i know i can always get a session with her when i need some guidance.

I find Alicia to be amazingly present, gracious, alive and vivacious.
I’ve worked with Alicia 1-​on-​1 and in an artist’s workshops. During the workshop she was able to inspire and lead us in a fast, effective, fun and inspiring way, all the while maintaining a safe and comfortable space for us to explore creatively. I was amazed to see how much of a difference the workshop made for me, as well as for other students. The pace of my own project accelerated, and I witnessed 2 blocked writers suddenly become prolific and a singer return to music again for the first time in years (she’s almost done with a whole album since taking the course).
1-​on-​1 Alicia is present, compassionate, patient, playful and soulful. She makes it very easy to open up personally and creatively, and knows how to cheerlead and inspire. She’s brilliant and insightful, and her ideas have helped me tremendously along my journey. Her own brilliant work also inspired me beyond words when I saw her one-​woman award-​winning show Eat, Pray, Laugh, and her playful grace as a laughter yoga is a true delight to experience.

Alicia gave me a great session of constellation work, which is designed to work through problems using the field effect. She made me feel totally welcome, including giving me a lovely cup of herbal tea, and then we meditated and then she listened to the issues I was facing. She created a framework where I could work through these issues, and it was both super creative and compassionate. I walked away feeling lighter and more hopeful. Yes, she uses a great technique. But so much of the experience is Alicia and the person she is – intuitive, heartful, and caring. Thank you Alicia! :)

1. How life was occurring for me before the session was that I was feeling as if I missed something at Burning Man and that that was somehow my fault. In spite of that I was also connected to my values in a new way and feeing good about who I am and what I stand for… also from Burning Man. A little confusing really — feeling good about who I am but disappointed that I don’t create the connections in my life that I’d like.
2. How life is occurring for me now after the session is that I now see how my way of connecting can be very much one-​way, that in the past few years I have learned how to contribute to and hold another in connection but that I most often if not always block their access to me.
3. What worked about the coaching was that Alica went through the steps and asked some of those questions that seem so simple yet have us answering from a different place. She asked me about what I wanted (connection) and how I would know when I had it. This created a short-​circuit in my thinking and had me feel instead. I saw that I wouldn’t really know when I had connection and that maybe I never really have or do know because I don’t let people in. What I saw in that moment was the ways in which I can be very present with people yet where they still somehow find me inaccessible — the one-​way-​street. I saw that I am very vague when talking about my own feelings and that I use this to keep people at arm’s length. For the first time maybe ever I actually saw and felt the dissonance between how I am with people and how I let them be with me. WOW!
Alica also had me feel into what kind of question I might ask where I would actually feel vulnerable, thereby taking down the wall that keeps people out. This was a stroke of brilliance on Alica’s part. We threw around some ideas and landed on one that felt so vulnerable that I actually threw it out the first time around for not being edgy enough, which of course it was and then some. «How do you feel about me?» Yikes! Getting reflection and contribution from Alica in that vulnerable moment put me into an incredible place of bliss and connection that I’m not sure I’ve ever been in.
4. What could have been done differently is… I have no idea. We did an incredible amount of very deep work an a very short period of time — quite possibly the most efficient hour of coaching I’ve ever gotten… really!
5. The learning I took away from the session was that the steps totally work and that certain kinds of questions really do make a difference in where people access their answers. I knew this on some level but had never seen it so clearly as I did last night with Alica, watching my own surprise and confusion around such a simple question. I also saw how my own coaching strength draws from this exact place where I’m comfortable — being present with someone and them feeling THAT but not so much feeling ME. I can see how working on this for myself will no doubt broaden my coaching range.

Alicia and I worked together at a progressive youth camp in the late 90s, and she grown into an amazing woman, artist and coach. Her sincerity, heart and humor are in full bloom.
Her own career as an artist is successful and inspiring, and I think she has a huge amount to offer other creative folks.

I had been on a hiatus from doing theatre for years, and was looking to both get back into the theatre scene and raise my stakes — actually creating a theatre career.
