I only get my eyebrows done here. The only person I see for that is Mimi. I will never go anywhere ever again. Mimi does them perfect. I highly suggest seeing her if you want them done right and precise.

Dirty ass place. They don’t sanitize anything. Observed hella manicurist before them calling me up… I asked the girl did you sanitize. She said no. I asked her why not. She said ok I will… NO YOU SHOULD! That shit is state law for a reason. Nasty! Saying all that I walked out n never looked back

Mimi has been doing my eyebrows for over 10 years. She’s the ONLY person I let touch my eyebrows. She listens to what you want and she’s always consistent. If you’re a real regular here, you’ll know that everyone getting their eyerbows done always asks for her! She knows dam near everyone that comes in to see her too! Gotta love her!

Manis & Pedis are done well here, but don’t come on the weekends. This is a Oakland favorite nail shop, so it’s packed on the weekends. Weekday evenings can be bad too, but you’ll be seen in a good amount of time.

Been going there since the 7th grade which is more than 20years through different owners but its décor hasn’t changed. its a bit NASTY in there. very nasty and eyebrow lady Mimi is excellent but she double dips and its not sanitary. so Ill pass or wipe immediately with alcohol

I was a «walk-​in» yesterday and Tony (the owner) did a BEAUTIFUL job on my nails and toes! He was calm and friendly. He has been in business for over 25 years and for a Wednesday afternoon, the salon was busy! (Always a good sign.)
I got a manicure with gel polish and a ‘polish change’ on my toes.
I’ve had gel polish before but it NEVER felt like this! My nails look and feel like a million bucks. Thanks Tony. See you soon :)
(I could only give four stars because there was a dissatisfied customer and the technician who was working on her kept arguing with the (older) lady. As the owner I feel Tony should have at least told the young nail tech to be quiet. Their bickering was distracting and took away from a relaxing experience. But other than that it was a great!!)

I have been coming to Crystal Nail Salon for a couple of years now to have Mimi wax my eyebrows. I’m a person who likes exactness and perfection when it comes to my eyebrows and Mimi has ALWAYS delivered. Some places I’ve gone to tend to take off pieces of your eyebrows then try to cover it up with eyebrow pencil. When you wash off the pencil you find out that half of your eyebrow is missing.

I don’t know why I always forget to check in here.. I’ve been coming here for years… well on and off depending on my schedule. But if im in this side of the bridge and need a little foot pick me up… this is where I go. Mimi is the best. If this were based solely on her and her magical work on brows the place would get 5 stars hands down.
There are only two things I come here for… brows and toes… but why here on Mac Arthur in Oakland??? The area might scare some people but this is home :) and put simply.. Mimi knows what she’s doing and doesn’t make my eyebrows look anorexic! And pedicures are relatively cheap and good.
Sometimes there can be a long wait so try and come early… I think they switched to cash only so make sure to have that before you come. And beware of where you park… they will tow your car… :/​
So I tried lashes here once but in truth my eyes are just too little and Asian and get irritated by the wait of the lashes. They did look good though…

Inexpensive & they do a fabulous job on design work! The only issue I have is they are a little too pushy with getting additional work done and tend to get a slight attitude when you tell them no. Other than that I can’t really complain! They are my go to for cute pedicures for cheap!

I love love love this place MiMi is the best I been going to this place for over a decade I have been to highend spas and no one has the magic touch of mimis eyebrow arching style I guess here u dnt get what u pay for cause mimi does a million dolla job!

I have been coming to Crystal Nails for 2 years or more and I live in Fairfield. So I drive all the way there because it is worth, atleast when my two ladies are working. I only get my mani/​pedi from Ms. Lee and my eybrows waxed from Mimi.
Ms. Lee does the best designs and is so friendly.
Mimi does great eyebrows making sure they are shapely but still thick as some places tend to take off too much. Eybrows do not grow back.

I’ve been going to this salon since 2008 my experience at Crystal’s nail salon has always been pleasant they are clean, efficient, reasonable prices, great hours of operation and know what they are doing. If you want mani/​pedi, waxing, and eyelashes you can have all of this done in 1hour or less on a Saturday. Great customer service thanks to crew that currently provides services. Cindy/​Mimi your sense of humor is priceless. They treat you like you’ve been coming to them for years even on your first visit that never changes.
In reference to eyelash glue/​removal it is important that 1 is well educated in the removal process temp eyelashes is not something for ½ days. If you have them put on be prepared to wear them for @ least a week or longer otherwise removal is not a easy task and you can risk losing your own.

If I could rate this ZERO stars, I would!
You may consider going here because you will walk out of there with AWESOME eyelashes and it’s super cheap and they seem to do a good job.
Shortly after, you will be regretting this decision like crazy! When you lose 50 EYELASHES taking this shit off! I swear that they use some kind of crazy glue on these eyelashes! When you ask them what kind of glue they use, or if NO way that they can tell you! I actually went to Simone’s in San Mateo and got extensions and I still have gaps. Apparently, I’m one of the lucky ones. As soon as Simone saw my lashes, she knew that I had gotten this done at some nail salon in Oakland. She said that she has seen this several times and a couple times people came in with ZERO eyelashes and she couldn’t do anything. She said that she has also seen people get infections from this place!
STAY AWAY!!!
