Curtis knows his trade. He was easy to work with and was very comfortable working on our commercial freezer.
Of all the companies I called he answered the phone and could speak directly to the issues I was having.
Most other companies wanted to come evaluate the problem and then return to make the repair– Curtis saved us time and money by coming prepared to make the repair.

This is my first time reviewing a company. I am so disappointed with Curtis, and the way he conducted himself. I asked him to fix my fryer and check my walkin cooler, and he agreed. I paid him $ 145 dollars for his time and he promised to come back to finish the job. Two weeks go by and nothing. I called him and he told me that he’ll come by and of course no show. Now he’s ignoring my phone calls. Look up the word con artist and his picture will come up. Stay away from him. I would give him negative stars if I could.

I called curtis to fix a leaking kegerator fridge. He said the machine was leaking because of the doors, and that once he replaced them, the problem would be solved.
He replaced the plastic doors with poor quality wood doors that are now cracking after a few months. He did a very poor insulation job with cheao foam thats already coming apart.
He has scheduled to come back several times, but is a no call, no show, which is incredibly disrespectful, unprofessional, and rude. He has made appointments to come back at least 5 times. He wanted more money to fix the real problem, which was clogged pipes. I will be reporting him to the Better Business Bureau as well as the other user who gave him a poor review.

It was a simple job, and not very demanding. But Curtis took it on and fixed a broken dryer switch knob. The movers had broken it and left it taped in place; so we did not see it until they were gone. Called Curtis Latson Services, and he came out in short order, figured out what needed to be done, and ordered the part. In the meantime, we asked him to install the dryer vent hose which he did very effectively.’
A week later he called and said the part had come in and he could come out and install it. He came as promised, installed the part, and was on his way with our check (very reasonable charge).

Will steal your money. Gave Curtis $ 2,499.00. He quickly went to a check cashing place in Oakland to cash out.
Very uneducated
Very unskilled — will destroy and ruined your machinery. He ruined my floor standing Hobart mixer. Additional costs to re-fix his unskilled and uneducated mess.
Stole Motor from Hobart (can be verified with Jose at Hobart 925−460−5330 as of nov 4 2014), stole money from me and ran like a thug.
Filed with BBB, will file with Oakland district attorney shortly.

I hardly or should i say never write reviews but believe me… DO NOT HIRE THIS GUY… YOU WILL REGRET, MARK MY WORDS… I have a long story spent thousands and countless days trying to get my job done right and got screwed up BIG TIME with this guy and now in process of suing him as he disappeared and wont return my calls. I want the best for everyone out there cuz we all work hard for our money so save yourself time, money and BS by not hiring this guy.

Curtis came with Langford of Norcal Appliance Repair and worked together on my Fisher and Paykel dryer. Both were pleasant, polite and efficient. They knew how to diagnose the problem and resolved it very satisfactorily.
I have no qualms in using them again.
