Comfortable Spanish practice with a small group of students and Lucy. Looking for a place to practice speaking Spanish? She’s got the basics of teaching and getting you to speak down! I get to know my classmates and her very nicely. She reviews constantly to make sure you have the past concepts down. The class size has only gotten as big as 8 people but maybe thats happened only once.
This is very worth the price!

I can’t say enough about Diga | Say it in Spanish. Lucy has all the qualities you want in a language teacher: deep knowledge of her subject, charisma, empathy and playfulness. She has a way of making grammatical principles feel intuitive, stressing practical communication skills and creating a safe environment for us to make mistakes & learn from them.
I’ve been a teacher for 20+ years, and Lucy is teaching me A LOT about the art of engaging students in meaningful, kinetic learning. It’s language class as it should be – not just painless but actually really, really fun. I love my Thursday nights at Diga!

I’ve taken classes more than once at Centro Latino, and I’ve taken a class at the University of Havana in Cuba, and I’d say my experience at Diga — Say it in Spanish was the best. the cost is very reasonable.
Lucy, the instructor has a very engaging teaching style, and in an advance class where it is mostly practicing your Spanish communication skills, such as the one I took, it’s important that everyone has equal speaking time. Her exercises are fun, and she follows up with e-​mails to reinforce key points in the class.

How many years have you wanted to learn Spanish? If you’re like me, each time I’ve tried, I stop within weeks: It’s Too Hard. I’ve gone to Centro Latino (okay), Mesoamerica (kinda okay), private tutoring (kinda okay), but Lucy Rocks Beyond them all! Lucy knows how we learn best: with our whole body/​mind/​heart: we laugh and play, we learn, we practice, we learn, we drink tea, we learn, we sing, we learn…
And, it’s with fun people (how does she attract such fun people?!), small class-​size, verrry affordable rates, and it’s in Lucy’s incredibly comfortable, welcoming home.
