Brian’s one of the coolest and most professional musicians I know. Having lived in the area for more than a decade, I’ve had the privilege of playing music with him in both the studio and on stage. His abilities on drums and willingness to have fun make him stand out from all the rest. I highly recommend Brian if you want to have an amazing experience learning how to play music and drums.

Brian is the man!
He’s super patient, and works at your pace while still pushing you to improve.
I’m a professional bass player (and music teacher as well) who wanted to pick up the drums more seriously, and Brian’s been a huge help.
He’s got it all… great attitude, impeccable skill, patience, and is great at communicating simple and challenging material alike. Highly recommend!

I am a teacher and a bass player, and I’ve been lucky enough to work with Brian as a musician in several different band situations. Brian is really a great drummer. He is always professional, patient and focused. He is also quite versatile; we roll through everything from straight jazz, to fusion to blues, funk and rock and Brian never misses a beat. And he is as comfortable and expressive on a full kit as he is with a cojon and shakers. Brian has that professional, yet laid-back vibe that works perfectly in a student/teacher relationship.

I’ve had the pleasure of both performing (SJSU Drumline) and working (Arroyo High School Drumline) with Brian. I’ve personally seen Brian grow as a teacher and performer in the 10+ years that I’ve known him. He is great with both kids and adults and can impart his experience playing different styles (jazz, latin, rock, etc) of music with those who have the opportunity to learn from him. Definitely recommend Brian if you’re looking for lessons!

I’ve worked with Brian for the past three years he is a very professional musician, well disciplined. His knowledge of drumming is a wealth of information.
