From the first encounter with RJ I knew he cared about taking care of me and was fully capable of doing so. I had no direction on how to best manage my money to use for long term investments and he made sure to guide me in making the right decision. He clearly explained why to make the choices he suggested through data that made it clear to me I was in the right hands.
He clearly stressed the importance of putting myself in a financial position that would secure my future as I move into retirement and I thank him for that.

When you’re first starting your career, especially as a young adult, you have a million questions, and in my case, these questions pertained to how I can begin to build towards my financial future, outside of the benefits offered by my job. I first decided to do my own research so, I bought investment books. After awhile, I needed to talk to a real person about different investment options as well as get some guidance and advice that was specific to my particular situation. That’s when I reached out to RJ Martin.

He is highly knowledgable about the finance world and was able to break down stocks/​mutual funds/​interest rates/​credit reports/​scores etc. in a simple way for me to understand and has been able to give a solid financial gameplan that i can stick with.
He has taught me that weather you have money or dont have money, everyone needs a financial gameplan and it is FREE to get financial consulting. I consulted with RJ after I became a full-​time employee at my company. As a young adult in my first «real» job, I needed guidance on how much money to invest into my 401k, how to balance my student loan paybacks, and other budget-​conscious decisions, all while paying rent in the Bay Area and living within my means.
The biggest thing I appreciate about RJ is his ability to relate to my situation and offer advice that makes sense to me! No mumbo-​jumbo and terms I don’t understand, but straight numbers, percentages and analysis that relates to my financial situation.
In comparison, our company offered a financial adviser during our onboarding process, and all he did is talk about what he did with his money and what he plans to do when he retires (he was in his 70s)… and I’m like what does this have to do with me and my financial situation? So I am appreciative that RJ was able to offer advice that I can use while investing in my 20s, 30s and beyond.
I’d highly recommend going in to have a chat with RJ about your financial situation. One of the takeaways in my conversations with him is that our money and retirement future is such a huge deal, but no one understands it. And we’re willing to pay money for trainers and experts for other things, but when it comes to our retirement we take blind guesses. Put things into perspective for me.
