This is cheapest burrito to got. Their prices are very affordable. The customer service was a big surprise. I don’t expect much service from this place since it was in the getto, but the ladies work their are very friendly and make their customers happy.

Best deal in the Bay Area … $ 3.99 for a made to order huge Super Burrito. Fast friendly service. I’ve had $ 9 burritos that weren’t half as good.

This is the best $ 4 gas station burrito I have ever had. Asked for my standard(and, yes, boring) pinto beans, rice, cheese and sour cream. The nice lady making the burrito kept asking if I was sure I didn’t want more stuff, so I said yes to the guac. Glad I did. Flavored everything up without being overpowering. Cilantro rice was very good, beans were bland, tortilla was big. For the price, excellent. They threw in a handful of tortilla chips, of which most were stale. So that was sad. Will definitely return, though, because as many other reviewers have pointed out, it’s a four dollar burrito that you can get while filling your car with reasonably priced gas.

Be very nice to the older lady, and she’ll hook you up. Act like an ass and you get a skinny burrito. And nobody wants that. All the ladies up there are all cool. You get your choice of 3 different kinds of tortilla(flour, spinach, tomato). Choice of 2 rices, choice of 4 meats, sour cream, cheese, pico and salsa all included for $ 4. I don’t go nowhere else, why? Burrito as good as chipotle or any taqueria for the half the price. And it’s off the freeway in a gas station with dope prices on the pump.

This is one of those hole-in-the-wall gems that is known to a lucky few. It is located in the same building as High Street Gas & Food, which means it’s in the«hood» and it definitely doesn’t feel 100% safe. The food is excellent, the Hispanic ladies were delightful, and the prices are incredibly low.

They have very good burrito’s for such a small shop. Great price. $ 3.99 for a large burrito that you normally buy for over $ 7 at some places. Good flavor and seasoning of the meat and beans. For me– I think I have experience some of the ladies on a few bad days. Watch them make your burrito, If you don’t ask for it they don’t offer it. I turned away to grab a soda and she had my burrito wrapped with no sour cream or guacamole. Yes, I had already told her everything. Again, Maybe she has no patience for non-Spanish speaking customers or she was having a bad day. No. It wasn’t just once and my husband experience the same thing. But will I go back. Heck yea! Didn’t I say $ 3.99 for a large burrito. Try the Tortas too.

decent tacos for a decent price. the portions are bigger than most of the local taco trucks, but it’s not the most authentic. pros: larger portions, good prices, indoor seating, conveniently next to a gas station cons: less authentic bottom line: this isn’t my first choice for tacos in this area

I star because you can get gas and the other star because it made me put 2. The gas is always a good deal. The food on the other hand you can do better up international for sure. The menu said one price but if you want anything extra you can be sure it’s gonna be a hefty price for a super go elsewhere for better food and better deal.

Never would’ve eaten here maybe 4 or 5 years ago, but they’ve cleaned up their act and put up a better looking front these days. Super burritos aren’t $ 3 bucks anymore… they’re now about $ 4.5 including tax. Still heckuva deal for a pretty big burrito. A comparable size and quality burrito in S.F. would set you back about 8 or 9 bucks. I went with the chicken super burrito, ’cause the beef they use still looks pretty low quality. This is a great stand by place to eat before heading to the A’s or Raiders games at the Coliseum, where the food is much more expensive and not as good. The workers here have probably encountered every type of street urchin imagineable, so don’t expect them to be enthusiastic or overly friendly. The gas station also has great gas prices for the area, but they don’t sell any liquor or beer inside. For that, you gotta cross under the freeway to the Shell station, which sells beer.

Not a bad place if you’e not looking for ambiance, as it is attached to a gas station, but don’t let that deter you. Inside is yummy burritos for THREEBUCKS with CHIPS!!! Yes, three bucks gets you a burrito with your fillings of choice, only the guac is extra. Its not huge but it leaves room for others. Word of caution… you might want enter the gas station from Coliseum Way as I almost relived a scene from Night of the Living Dead as a group of braseros looking for work almost mobbed my ride as I was pulling in from High Street. Those guys are one bunch of eager beavers, although I have to give them props… at least they are willing work, unlike some of the panhandlers I see in SF or downtown Oakland, go get em! Go get some GAS and create some gas.

My new lunch spot for days I don’t bring lunch to work. This little taqueria is attached to the gas station on High Street right off of I-880. The burritos are good, but they’re even better because they’re $ 3.00. I also like that I can fill up my tank while waiting for my food, and because they’re attached to a large gas station their drink selection is amazing! The carnitas weren’t as good as the beef, and yes, they have a Philly Cheese Steak on the menu. WTF?

El Señor is a great deal for a good burrito with chips and salsa for three bucks. After a long hiatus, I went back last week and fount that they recently changed their menu to be little bit more authentic by taking off the French Fries and other more non-traditional Mexican foods(for some strange reason they kept the Philly cheese steak on the menu, what’s that about?). Cut to the chase, burritos are still the best deal around and they also added some other good looking items to the menu.

I discovered this place because the gas station it’s at has the cheapest gas in the area, and one day I was hungry. Really hungry. Hungry enough to take a chance on a gas station burrito. Oh, man, what a wonderful discovery. HUGE burritos, stuffed with deliciousness, made to order. And really tasty, too. I love messing with people that don’t know about this place by saying, «Let’s go to the gas station for burritos!» They think I’m crazy. The gas station aspect also helps in that you’ve got a mini-mart worth of beverages to choose from to wash down your burrito. There’s usually a place to park next to the air & water machine, but if you’re getting it to go, I usually start filling the tank, get my grub, and then come back and the tank is full. The one negative: sometimes a little inconsistent in the quality of ingredients(meat a little gristly, rice a little dry, etc).

it’s hard to find a better deal than their fish burrito $ 2.99 anywhere. four stars instead of five for false advertising: they have no espresso even though there’s a red neon sign in the front proclaiming«espresso» Totally informal– it’s in a gas station!

Gas station tacos, YES! Why do the best tacos and burritos come from roach coaches and the side of a gas station and NOT from sit down restaurants? I don’t think we’ll ever find out… The tacos here are a little more expensive compared to the taco trucks, but still less than the restaurants, but you get chips and salsa even if you order a single taco. By the way, even a single taco here is actually pretty big, complete with guacamole, which other places tend to charge extra for. Also the condiments such as radishes, jalepenos, salsa, etc are on the side so you can get as many or as little as you like. I love those little radishes so I pig out. The only issue I’ve had here was that the Latina who works there doesn’t seem to know any English. She’s not bad on the eyes but I’ve had a little bit of trouble ordering a couple times. She was still very friendly and patient though, so it’s ok. Also parking might be an issue if you’re going during the commute times. I get gas at that station pretty regularly and if you go during the rush hours there might be a line of cars just to get into the lot. I guess that’s the price for a gas station that has the cheapest gas around AND also the best tasting and priced tacos and burritos around.

one of the best things in life is finding a place which you would never expect to find excellent food at… El Señor Taco is one of those places. Smack dab in the middle of a Day Labor hring zone, Diesel fuel off 880, fruit and flower street vendors inside a Gas Station she lays. Do I dare say restaurant quality mexican food inside a gas station mini-mart? Heck Yes! Standard Burritos are only $ 2.99, no matter what the filling, including fish. Taco’s $ 1.49 or 2 for $ 3.99. Tortas you ask, $ 5?, hell no, $ 2.99. Honestly, their fish tacos kick ass. Why? Today I had 3 of them. Allow me to discect them please. 1. tortillia-corn, heated on a grill, crispy, not burned, heated perfectly. 2. fish, grilled, not fried, seasoned with pepper. flavor not masked or overpowered as frying does. 3. a nice glob of Guac, fresh, 4. fresh cabbage Honestly, I have had seriously crappier stuff at sit down mexican places and been charged $ 10 for the pleasure. Parking is not really an issue, it is a gas station and there is plenty of parking to the side of the building. I used to hit the LaPinata truck before, but this place is so much better

Make way for the $ 2.99 buritto! El Señor is a tacqueria attached to a mini mart in a gas station at High St. and Coleseum Way. It’s a big slick newish looking gas station painted in red and grey, that looks like it should be a Texaco but the big tall sign just says«Food Gas». The mini mart looks like any other mini mart with beef jerkey and Pringles, but instead of having to buy microwaved burritos wrapped in plastic you can sit down and eat at a real tacqueria. There’s a sign near the door that says«El Señor». While you eat you get to look out at the underneath of Hwy 880 and watch people filling up their big trucks with gas. $ 2.99 burritos $ 4.99 super burrito(cheese, sour cream) $ 1.49 tacos $ 2.99(I think) tortas $ 3.99 enchilada platter– 2 enchiladas, rice, beans & salad. Choice of meats include chile verde, chicken, fish, carnitas, steak or chorizo. I ordered a $ 2.99 fish burrito that was HUGE and came with tortilla chips. The fish appeared to be tilapia, and was lightly coated in flour and pan fried. It also had pinto beans, rice, salsa, lettuce inside. It was delicious. There is a salsa bar with 4 kinds of salsa, jalapenos, limes, and radishes. Everythings the normal size you’d expect in a tacqueria, despite the miniturized prices. There looked like there were a number of taco trucks in the area so maybe they are priced competitively with the local taco trucks, I don’t know. (I went here because there is a «Coming Soon» sign at the corner of 19th and San Pablo for El Señor #2 and an insider told me to check out #1 on High St. if I wanted to know what to expect. I don’t know if they’ll keep the prices but it’d sure be nice if they did.)
