Inaccurate pumps. I’ve been going to this station for quite some time because they do have the lowest prices in the area. However, I’ve come to believe that their pumps are inaccurate, so the cheapness is an illusion. I just put 14.619 gallons in my car, even though my car’s gas tank only holds 14.5 — and my tank wasn’t empty when I pulled in! On top of that, the pump didn’t shut off when it was full, so it ran over. Just a little, as I was watching. It might account for a tenth of a gallon, but not the gallon or two that was in the tank when I pulled in. I complained to the clerk about the spillage — that the pump didn’t turn off automatically and he said he didn’t understand what I meant. I had to ask him twice just to get some paper towels to wipe the gas off my car. No apology whatsoever. I didn’t even bother with telling him about the calibration inaccuracy — I’m reporting them to the State.

I got a full tank of gas from this place once and I noticed that my car ran rough and sluggish. I also noticed that the gas burned up really fast. My car have never ran that way for as long as I’ve had it (I purchased the car with 50k). It is located in a very convenient place for me, however, I will not be contaminating my car with this gas again. I also made sure to tell my wife not to purchase gas from this place as well. I go to Quik Stop on 35^th Avenue instead. Their gas price is comparable and it’s right next to the freeway as well.

I live extremely close to this gas station. I have to say they have the cheapest gas around, and the staff feel like true neighbors. I like this station, because the lotto machine is in the back so you can complete your lotto dealings at your leisure. Some of the patrons are who to look out for. There can be a few panhandlers, but they don’t seem harmful. I meet the owner the station she was nice, and seemed truly interested in my questions, and concerns regarding the station. Great fast, convenient pit stop.

I should give this place zero stars so I won’t have to compete with the other idiots who know that this place has the cheapest gas in town. They’re always $.10 under competitors, and sometimes they have secret price drops at the pump. Don’t tell anyone else.
I agree with the others, getting out of this place can be a rush. You take the life of your car in your hands and have to jet across High into oncoming traffic, which because of parked cars, you can’t see at all. But oh, I believe, being a cheapskate, that it’s totally worth it.

Cheapest gas around – generally. Funny thing, tho, when you’re paying $ 3.00 a gallon, sometimes it just doesn’t seem worth the effort to save $ 0.10 per.
I would disagree with previous reviewers regarding the station’s configuration: there’s nothing wrong with the station, but there’s a *lot* wrong with the clientele! For whatever reason, they’re mostly dummies. They enter the station at all points and angles, park in weird places, smoke at the pumps, and – more frequently than I personally enjoy – bump the latest from whomever it is currently producing the most popular anus-​agitating, tooth-​rattling 4:4 rap music. Maybe I’m just getting old, but the shit the kids are listening to these days…
And don’t get me started on the baggy pants! (waves cane)
The best part of the station is the price, and that the guys behind the counter are – if not actually friendly – relatively cool. They put up with a lot of shit, so I’m just glad they don’t snarl and wave a crowbar at me when I ask why they don’t carry Suzy Q’s.
The worst part is the drive to exit – it dives down on the exit, and the street humps back up, so you’re basically trying to merge onto the rushing traffic on High St (always a dangerous proposition) which bouncing through a deep ditch. One takes their life in their hands.
(of course, you could go out the other side, which is what I do, because I am smart and like avoiding accidents, and because nobody else at this station is or does, again, due to the clientele).

This gas station is cheap and fast. I agree with Brian G. that the layout is strange and prone to errors but it is still worth it. The people working here are friendly and nice.

This place has some of the cheapest gas in the area, hands down. It can be tricky getting a spot since drivers entering the gas station start to lost their spatial perception and can often only see in two dimensions. Still, it’s worth the $ 0.10 a gallon less you’ll pay.
