Eh. That’s kind of the best way I could describe this hot dog.
We got the chili cheese dog as I think that lies as a good foundation to determine if a hot dog place is good or not.
So obviously, the answer is… not.
You could tell that both the chili and cheese were cheap and processed and for that, it will never bring me back.

I have passed this place for years and finally stopped in on my way to help a friend in his garage. I did the drive-​thru for a couple of dogs and small fries. Service was a tad slow but the server was friendly with a great smile. Price with a small drink was around $ 10. Not cheap when compared to a chain fast food joint.
The dogs came with kraut — properly cooked and tasty — and while the sign said Texas dogs, the tube steaks were just regular sized. Glad I ordered two. Fries too were typical quality and the portion size was about right — however, they were hot, fresh and cooked to golden.
The hot dogs are DWH style (you’ll figure it out…) not deep fried so the flavor has to come from the meat. These are just OK — I prefer DWH made with Sabrette dogs.
Have not been inside so I can’t comment on the cleanliness or other accommodations.
Three stars in a world filled with 4 and 5 star options. You make the call.

I have been to this place many times and I don’t know why I keep giving them my business. I’m done! Never again! The food sucks, service sucks, and it’s not very clean. I had a grilled cheese which tasted microwaved (how do you mess up a grilled cheese). I did watch them microwave my cheese fries and my soup was the cheap canned kind. I’ll drive the few extra miles to go to the lantern in Haskell. Much better service at least. Don’t waste your $ here.

Had the caliente burger this afternoon. Now i am throwing up in garbage bag while I sit on the toilet. FOOD POISONING PERHAPS?

I don’t know what it is about this place, but I always notice that the floor in the rear entrance is always wet. What’s up with that? Wet dirty, not wet clean. Bathroom lines are usually a problem here to.
Now the food is average and could be a little cheaper or beef up the portions to compensate, because the lack of a «bang for your buck» factor doesn’t exist for me to keep coming back. Service is ok.

I come here for lunch some days, nothing amazing but they have an acceptable dog or burger… just one thing, don’t get the cheese on your fries or dogs. They use a rather thin and whiter cheese sauce, not the thicker more nacho like cheese you may be expecting. The chili is decent though.

Food is sub-​par, staff is not friendly, however service was fast. Inside was a little dirty, tables were not wiped down properly, streaked and with crumbs on them. Bathroom walls is falling down, bathroom dirty and no towels to wipe hands. For an 11.00 cheesesteak too expensive for a crumby looking place.

Clean new establishment, service was nice & friendly as some else put it … The bacon cheese hot dog was also good with a side a onion rings!

Glad I was in the area to finally try this place.
Its right next to a Dairy Queen.
they have a drive-​thru and accept all credit cards. It’s set up like a fast food joint. Clean and pleasant.
I ordered 2 dogs all the way an a small drink, which is self serve. $ 7 bucks.
The dogs had a decent snap. Both the franks & chili sauce were very mild but fresh.
Great alternative to fast food and a nice Texas Wiener place to add to my route.

Much better food than a Wendy’s or McDonalds. Burgers are cooked fresh and you notice it. The wait is a bit longer, of course, but worth it. Great for take out; inside is a bit too plain.

What can you say — a great place for a hot dog, cheesesteak, maybe even a salad. A down scale McDonalds with limited seating but cheap food, good quality, friendly counter service. This is a franchise or chain. I go there for a quick, cheap lunch.
