First Years Enrichment Program

We had our son at First Years Enrichment from the age of two and a half until he was almost four and he really thrived in the care of Miss Patti and Miss Debbie. The environment at First Years Enrichment is very clean and the day is very structured which I think our son needed when he first started there. They potty trained him there and advanced his learning of the alphabet, counting, and even started him reading as well. They also focus on a child’s his fine motor skills from the activities (like puzzles) that they do in the morning. Miss Patti and Miss Debbie also teach the kids about manners, safety and what to do in an emergency situation. They also provide healthy snacks and lunches which is not very common with other bay area preschools and daycares. The back yard has a good amount of outdoor space and toys for the kids to play with as well so that they can get some sun and exercise without having to leave the property.
In all, First Years is a wonderful, safe place for kids to learn and play run by two very caring ladies that are passionate about helping prepare children for a lifetime of education.

My son has been at First Year Enrichment since the fall of 2010. We really like it. The teachers are caring. What I like most is my relationship with the teachers. They take time to talk with me when necessary and listen to my concerns. I recall that on my first visit observing one of the the teachers in classroom with a student and i knew this was where I wanted my son to be in preschool. I thought my son would be in safe and welcoming environment while learning how to socialize with other children
The teachers potty trained my on. He has learned to write both the alphabets and numbers and is starting to read. Also he has learn good averall skills.

I feel so comfortable and happy taking my daughter to Miss Patti and Miss Debbie. The home is clearn, safe, healthy and happy. My daughter has made very close friends with other children and we have enjoyed weekend playdates as a result. The program has given my daughter confidence in writing, reading and sounding out letters. She is practicing writing numbers. She enjoys playing in the backyard on the safe equipment. And the vegetarian meals and snacks have expanded her pallette beyond what I could have imagined. miss Patti and Miss Debbie have a great attention to detail and operate a fantastic program. The small group allows for close bonds between the kids and teachers. I feel so comfortable when I am work knowing that my daughter has been for the last 2 years in this safe, wholesome and happy environment.

Our son is starting 1^st grade next month and we remain thankful we chose Miss Patti and MIss Debbie’s First Years Enrichment Program for his pre-​schooling. Their program is focused on academics, with ample time for fun and exercise every day. We shopped around a lot before finding this program, and the organization and cleanliness of the space struck us immediately. We never looked back!
Our son was the top reader in his kindergarten class, thanks to the efforts of Miss Patti and Miss Debbie. He learned a lot about proper behavior, manners, communication, plus of course age-​appropriate academics with a lot of reading… plus he just had a great time! He talks about the friends he made there, and his many memories very often, even though he’s in «big kid» school now.
The fee is very reasonable, and includes a hot lunch and snacks. Access is easy and the neighborhood very pleasant. I’d choose the First Years progarm all over again, if I had the chance.
