Local– like across the street local– Taqueria. It’s been closed for a year and re-opened last week. Their fish tacos were fresh grilled or fried tilapia and fresh cut cilantro in a warmed corn tortilla with some homemade salsa or guacamole, and pickled carrots, jalepenos and onions. Yum! and cheap — $ 1.00 each– their veggie burritos were under $ 3.00. Then they noticed more punks and hipsters eating there so the prices went up. Then they closed. So now they re-opened– same family but with a different format– more reflective of the actual clientele there– fried fish sammiches and hamburgers in addition to burritos and tacos. I’ll update soon, but I expect to be disappointed. Prolly not a lot of veggie options.
