Glamour Is Me

Got a Livingsocial deal and thought I will give this place a try. Boy, was I wrong. They cancelled on me 3 times. I tried to get a refund from Livingsocial but couldn’t because it was passed my expiration date. Called again to have my appointment book because I didn’t want to lose my $ 99 for hair/​makeup, 4 wardrobe changes, and 8×10 print. Renee, the person that was the makeup artist and the person that set up my appointments… she forgot about me the 4^th time when making the appt when she told me that she needed another Livingsocial deal to go on and will get more clients then I will be given a date for the photographer to come in and I will be included into the schedule. Renee totally forgot. I had to remind her again and I was mad that I was cancelled on 3 times and to forget about me when you told me you will call back when you can get me an appt.
All I got was an apology, make up was extremely horrible and cakey on my face (Glamour Is Me told me not to put any moisturizer and NO makeup on before coming to shoot), they told me I had to do my own hair, and to bring 2 outfits with me. THIS IS NOT WHAT THE LIVINGSOCIAL DEAL STATED! I was too mad to even told them that and I just wanted my photoshoot done and over with. I did tell Renee that I was mad for having them cancelled on me numberous times and all she offered what was free makeover. I told her I don’t need the makeover, I just want another print and call it even.
Renee said the pictures will come in 2 weeks after the photoshoot. The pictures wasn’t even mailed in ONE MONTH!!! Had to wait that long and kept calling her. Her assistant said she’ll give her a call and send it out. Out of the inconvenience, I had to go through, they said they will send me a CD along with my 2 prints. I waited a total of 1 ½ months after the photoshoot to received only 4 prints with NO CD!
OVERALL:
MAKEUP WAS HORRIBLE (I KNOW MAKEUP AND COULD HAVE DONE A BETTER JOB KNOWING WHAT I WOULD LOOK LIKE AT THE PHOTOSHOOT. I DID MY OWN MAKEUP AT MY FRIEND’S WEDDING AND I WAS THE BRIDE’S MAID).
WAITED SEVERAL MONTHS TO GET MY APPOINTMENT.
THEY DID NOT PROMISE AS DELIVERED ACCORDING TO THE LIVINGSOCIAL DEAL.
THE PRINTS CAME IN 1 ½ MONTHS LATER, NOT 2 WEEKS AS RENEE SAID.
HATED THIS EXPERIENCE WITH PASSION!!! SAVE YOUR MONEY AND TIME AND GO ELSE WHERE PEOPLE!!!

Renee is such an artist, she effortlessly did my hair and make up to where I was the prettiest I’ve ever been. She gave me the big Victoria Secret curls I’ve never been able to get before and my make up and contouring was great! She was extremely professional and made me feel extremely comfortable from the minute she got to my house. We even talked about getting margaritas since we live so close to each other.
Then there was Anthony, the photographer and stylist, WOW!!! I checked out his portfolio after I saw my photos, and saw all the celebrities and work he’s done. Good thing I just trusted him and his gut, because he picked out the best outfits and locations/​backgrounds to give me amazing natural photos.
Then he did his magic on the photos to where I look like a flawless model. I still can’t believe what he could do, he is the best of the best, as far as I’m concerned. My 140lb frame looks to be 105lbs after he photo shopped my sexier picture; the best part is, I’m the only one that can tell, not even my husband knew!!! I’m pretty sure all of my girl friends are going to be taking advantage of this package while it lasts, as should you, if you’re reading this. I’ll definitely be calling Renee for a party and hope Anthony will be the photographer there too.

This is a must DO! It’s darn near addictive. If you’ve ever really wanted to know how celebrities feel when they are having their make up and photo-​shoots done professionally, well this is your opportunity to let Renee make you over and Anthony Frausto take your photos because the outcome I guaranteed you will be fabulous and the price is so reasonable, but the transformation is PRICELESS. I honestly felt like I was at a video shoot :) … I loved all of my photos and I’ve gone back and recommend that you get all your GIRLS together and HAVE A PARTY…

I recently had a makeover with Glamour Is Me and I was completely satisfied. The makeover brought out my best features and downplayed my flaws. Renee is great at her art. The photographer Anthony Frausto took excellent pics and I absoutely LOVED the magazine-​type finish!

Wonderful experience! A true natural make-​up artist with no hidden fees! Enjoyed my makeover and love my photos! I can’t wait to join the next party!
