Giving this doctor a one star because after searching for weeks for an OBGYN that had good reviews and was taking new patience, suddenly on the long awaited day of my appointment, I got a harried phone call from her office saying that they had to cancel my appointment because as they put it… «that time-slot wasn’t supposed to be booked». I couldn’t believe it. I was beyond disappointed and left with no recourse other than to try and rebook. That’s when I really got angry. With no apology they actually wanted me to wait another 3 months… WTF. I suggest you run… not walk… away from these people. Clearly they don’t care, or are too busy to care.

I love this doctor, everything about her. I had two somewhat complicated pregnancies and she was amazing. Although she runs a bit late(get a morning appointment), she is late because she makes sure to spend as much time needed to answer your questions and help you with anything needed. My last birth was really complicated and she literally sat in the hospital all day to make sure I was well taken care of. Several ladies on my block also used her for multiple births and there is the same level of adoration. I also spent a lot of time with Miranda, her Assistant, and she is equally lovely. She is extremely smart and very knowledgeable about any question you may have. Sometimes I would get impatient and call her instead of Goldee and I never felt I got an uneducated answer.

Goldee Gross is absolutely the best and her office staff is great as well! She’s been my doctor since the early 80’s. Dr. Gross is intelligent, caring, calm, friendly, down to earth – just everything a doctor should be. She really listens and she gives great advice. There are many bulletin boards throughout Goldee’s offices, all covered with pictures of happy Moms and babies that she has helped to deliver. She really loves her work! Dr. Gross will put you totally ease during the gyn exam – she makes it no big deal. However, you can bet she’s catching everything. Her trained fingers found a tiny lump in my breast(which turned out to be an enlarged fat cell, a non-issue) and I was glad to know that she could pick up something like that. I had a complete hysterectomy because of fibroids and Dr. Gross was able to do it without a visible incision – no scars! AND my recovery was quick and mostly pain-free. She is an excellent surgeon! Wow! I’ve had her as my OB/GYN for almost 30 years! I trust her completely and I really like her.

Kinda weird to write a review for my gyno on Unilocal, but I’m a «first» hog and this place has no reviews. I promise, no gory details. So far I’ve seen Miranda, a Physician’s Assistant, and she’s great — really smart, accessible, open to questions. It’s pretty easy to get an appointment, and the wait time is pretty much on par with all the other doctors I’ve ever seen(not exactly instant, but not grueling). I once I had a slightly negative experience with one of the nurses(Miranda was out that day). I think I was sick, and she struck a nerve with her naggy sex-ed 101 lecture(same one Miranda had given me a month before, just way more condescending). I actually yelled at her! Okay, it was probably more of an annoyed bitchy tone than a yell, but either way, it was totally out of character for me and I felt like a doofus. But that was just a fluke. Five stars, minus one for icky parking(there’s a tiny garage, usually full, or lots of busy meters).
