An excellent teacher who’s class facilitation is accessible, supportive and clear. Gretchen offers an Ashtanga flow sequence that is physically rigorous with multiple options for poses designed to meet the needs of practitioners of all levels. Her class and teaching style make advanced postures seem less intimidating and more approachable for me as a student working on building strength and flexibility. Gretchen’s warmth, grace and inspiring presentation of both postures and yoga philosophy deeply resonate with my desire for a safe and challenging space to grow my yoga practice.

I really love this studio! I found it through a friend, and decided to try the new student special. After practicing yoga on and off for years, I wanted to start a more regular practice. The space is clean and bright, and the staff all seem cool and down to earth. I’ve tried a few classes, and enjoyed them all. I particularly enjoy Gretchen’s class and do my best to make her Tuesday/​Thursday class regularly. It’s always challenging, but she gives good options and encourages us to take breaks. She always reminds us to let go of the idea of levels, which I like.

I love Gretchens classes because they are a mix of traditional ashtanga with a creative/​dance flare. Her classes are physically challenging which helps me clear my mind and she always offers adjustments to advance or simplify the practice. She is approachable and warm.
