This guy is great! It’s hard to not go here every time I’m leaving the gym at Coast Guard island, as I say to myself I deserve it after working out. Some days I can’t help myself. Great dogs and steamed buns with lots of toppings; kraut, jalapenos, etc. He has some specialty dogs also like hot links, polish or bratwurst. You really cant go wrong. Lots of snack, chips or candy offerings, as well. The owner is such a nice old dude, you feel good about giving him some business and tossing in a tip. Lots of cold drinks on ice. Can’t say a bad thing about this stand. About ½ the price as Caspers and at least equal in quality.

I’ve passed by this hot dog cart for years, and just always wondered what it was doing there. There’s always like 1 – 4 people in line so I figured it has to be decent… either that or it’s because of the nearby cannabis club. Either way, I decided to give it a shot, I love supporting small businesses. So when you pull up you turn onto a street and there’s plenty of street parking right by the cart. Go up and he has a decent selection of different types of hot dogs. You can get chips, a drink, and a pretty big hot dog for $ 5 flat. The guy is really kind. When you order the type you want then he starts going down his toppings asking if you want it, and he really hooks it up. The guy is super nice, food is good, and really inexpensive. I will for sure be coming back to this spot. Also you can drive right across the street and park at one of the parks and look at the water while you eat. Pretty nice spot.

This review has been a long time coming and I’m sorry it took me until now, but it is well deserved: Mr. Barady, this unassuming hot dog vendor, is a prince among men. You see, one day while rushing through my lunch break and navigating my selections, cash and bike, I had unknowingly dropped my wallet into his big box of chips! Only, this was no ordinary wallet. Losing my ID, cards etc., was enough to be angry at myself for being so careless, but in that wallet was $ 800. Yes, EIGHTHUNDREDDOLLARS. Now, I don’t walk around with that kind of money but my car had died and I was packing some serious cash to view a used car(and possibly put a deposit on) that evening. Needless to say, I hardly slept a wink because this was basically all I had, but I did think of what had happened, hoping that I could get there the next morning to dig through the chips before anyone else had found it. Well, Barady had. He even tried to drop the wallet off to the address on my ID, since he lived close by! Nearly in tears, I wanted to give him a huge hug, but I didn’t want to offend or embarrass him(I was ashamed enough,) so I bought a candy bar instead. Mr. Barady, you don’t know how you saved me those years ago but you are an honest and righteous person. I hope you and your family are much rewarded by this precious business you work so hard at. Thank you! Naomi

I was introduced to this place by my son’s daycare teacher and all I can say is… best hot dogs I have ever had! I’m not really a hot dog person anymore as I’ve come to watch what I eat and hot dogs usually gross me out; however, I still crave them and once I had one from here I couldn’t stop myself. Now that I’m pregnant I eat here almost twice a week and get 2 hot dogs at a time lol. I’ve brought several other people here who aren’t really big meat eaters but now they’re obsessed with this place too. I asked what makes their hot dogs so good and they responded that they don’t use costco type of jot dogs or anything like that and their hot dogs are 100% all real beef. They have all the fixings too. And the price is more than a bargain. You can get chips or candy, a drink, and a hot dog for $ 5!!! Cash only tho. Being that I’m pregnant this baby is craving hot dogs and this place is heaven for my snotty food preferences. I don’t care for the hot links but they’re still good. I usually go with a polish hot dog or regular hot dog both of which are larger than a traditional hot dog :) once you eat a hot dog from here try eating one elsewhere. .good luck is all I gotta say lol! You’ll be spoiled and thank me later.

Miller’s dog is served here. normally, this may be a turnoff but i needed to eat and midday had few offerings. menu had various dogs at 2.5&3. on the vendor’s advice, i got the jumbo polish beef dog(3) FAB! you get to customized your dog with ketchup, mustard, mayo, relish, onions, cheese, tomatoes, kraut, etc. the bun tastes steamed and also toasted. the toppings are as fresh as caspars. the dog was a mild disappointment, not that juicy nor tasty. nevertheless, the jumbo dog with the excellent dressing is a great value and certainly repeatable.

This guy has been serving up Dogs, Polish Dogs, Turkey Dogs for over 10 yrs on this corner. Cilantro? Kraut? Jalepeno? Fresh Diced Tomatoes? Fresh Diced Onion? — he’s got it all and then some… throw in some chips and a soda and you’ve got a «special, just for your today my friend» lunch that hits the spot everytime!
