Jeanne did an amazing job of helping us find a beautiful home in Oakland. My family recently sold a rental property and needed to do a 1031 exchange, so we were working with a deadline!
Jeanne took us full speed ahead, viewing houses 2 – 3 days per week.
She often went out of her way to pick me up so that we could take one car to view places. I was impressed by how well she came to understand our taste and what we were looking for.
In working with Jeanne, I feel like I really got an education in the East Bay real estate market– timing, how it ticks, what to look for in terms of functionality and quality.
Also, as a home owner & landlord herself, she always affirmed that she’d like to remain a resource for her clients in recommending local handymen, foundation guys, etc… So far, everyone she has recommended has been great!
The only hitch was that right before we closed, she passed us on to one of her colleagues in order to travel (we knew in advance that this was a possibility! She was very good about communicating this.) This person was not as invested in us as clients, and did not do nearly as thorough a job as Jeanne would have done. Originally the plan was to pass us on to someone who specialized in 1031 exchanges, but for some reason there was a last minute switch, which created just a little complication in our paperwork.
Despite this, I would highly recommend working with Jeanne! She’s awesome!
