Great atmosphere, attentive service and incredible wines. $ 15 for five wines was a great value. I would highly recommend this winery.

Always excellent wine! First time to the tasting room. A bit small, but may have seemed so because there were so many visitors! Wine is as good as always! Wish they would crack open some of the more expensive wines that are so fabulous! But still enjoyed our visit!

I was in yesterday for a friends 30th birthday we did not make reservations and had a pretty big group. We had the best time!!! Alana served us and she had the best customer service! We basically just wanted her to hang out with us, she did everything in her power to make sure we had a blast! Including letting us light a giant candle, serve cake and provide us with the utensils. Thank you for making our night!!!

Stop #3 on my Oakland Wine Tour! The newest tasting room to hit Oaktown and also the smallest. A nice L-shaped bar with a high top and a large communal table in the corner(that probably seats about 8). Large windows onto the street making it very open and airy. Tasting fee: $ 15 for about 4 wines, waived if you make a $ 30+ bottle purchase. The tasting and the wines are definitely a bit more expensive than Dashe and Cerruti, but with that, they were good. I really enjoyed 2 out of the 4 wines we tasted, the tasting room is solid and it was overall a fun experience. At this point, I was a few wineries deep — so specific wines escape me, my b! Go forth and taste for yourself! Ilana/Elana who was(wo)manning the room solo handled the crowd and was quite sweet and very non pressuring to buy wine or even join the wine club, which is always appreciated. A nice little pit stop and on this specific night they were serving some delicious cookies, BONUS!

Jeff makes some great wines. Have been a fan since he opened the tasting room on 4th Street, and continue to be one as a club member. The reds are very drinkable, but they age very well, also. Whites can be minerally and are great with food. I have found the tasting room staff to be pleasant and knowledgeable. Yes, prices are probably out of range of the casual drinker, but for people who want a great wine, the prices are fairly comparable to well known Napa and Sonoma wineries, without having to make the trip.

Another quality Jack London Square winery, now in a new tasting room of its own in the heart of the neighborhood. I’ve visited both its old tasting room(shared with Dashe, down the street) and its new one, and the wines are consistently good. Their reds are particularly bold and noteworthy, whether their syrah, zinfandel, or cabernet sauvignon. And I can’t remember the name of the young man who ran the tasting room when I last visited, but he was particularly knowledgeable, engaging, and helpful. With so many good wineries within steps of my home, my wine storage is now overflowing! Not a bad problem to have, I guess.

We came here yesterday as the culmination tasting room of our Oakland wine tasting experience, to celebrate my sister’s birthday. The wines were decent, although pricey for the area and the tasting fee seemed high, at $ 15. What really disappointed us however, was the service. The woman who served us was unfriendly and seemed disinterested. She also didn’t seem to know much about the wines and acted as if she wanted the experience to end as quickly as possible. I had initially planned on buying a bottle there, but after the poor service, we just wanted to get out of there as soon as possible. It’s too bad that we ended here because the other tasting rooms that we visited in the area exceeded our expectations.

I was really excited about trying this place with my coworkers but it was a big letdown. The wines were so-so. The tasting fee of $ 15 was exorbitant. I thought I would at least be able to recoup the fee by purchasing a bottle of the rose, which was the only wine that I enjoyed. Unfortunately, I was told their policy required the purchase of at least three bottles before I could get a credit. Given the quality and cost of the wine, I didn’t feel it was worth dropping any more money here. It’s too bad they could have made a sale.
