Joel’s Guitar Lessons

Joel is a great friend, musician, and overall awesome guy. After working with Joel for a number of years as a musician and a music industry professional, it is evident that Joel is a true practitioner of the art of music. As a music industry professional and student of music, Joel is always one to appreciate various forms of music. This lack of bias manifests in his playing, which is technically adept, varied, and always sensitive to the situation regardless of the style of music being played. From rock to heavy metal to jazz, Joel excels at everything. This talent and diversity makes him an excellent teacher as well – Joel can work with literally anyone and provide the support needed to allow one to achieve the best out of his/​her playing. I highly recommend Joel as a guitar teacher and purveyor of the art.

Having played in several bands with Joel in Los Angeles, I’m very happy to see that he’s begun offering guitar lessons. He is a professional guitarist through and through, but knowledge and raw talent aside, he’s just a really great, down-​to-​earth guy. I can’t think of anyone I’d recommend more highly to someone who’s either looking to pick up the guitar for the first time or to take their skills to the next level.
