I’m very surprised at the reviews below, my experience with this auto shop was actually the opposite. When I took my car there they were very professional and I thought they were very fair with the price they gave me for the repair on my car, not only that but I got my car back fairly quickly, as far as I’m concerned they are very good at what they do, but I can see how they might have made some mistakes at the commentaries before

I went back to Kaiser and told them about my lackluster experience. The owner was very understanding. The mechanics there know what they’re doing and are willing to negotiate a good deal. I recently got an oil change and they fixed other things that were really bothering me without charge.

Not even sure the oil change is worth the low cost … maybe if you are getting an oil change with regular (non-​synthetic) oil & if you can ignore their push to get you to fix your car problems. For my synthetic oil change they quoted me $ 20 plus $ 8– per quart, then as I was leaving said «maybe it is $ 12– per quart» and then when I returned they charged me $ 13.50 per quart. Ugh.
I also agree with the other review that they will tell you everything is wrong with your car. I’ve been here twice with two different cars and had that exact thing happen (I’ve avoided being pulled into any fixes). In this case they quoted $ 260– for a problem with my axle. It just so happened I needed a smog check and drove it down the street (Express Auto — a great place actually). They quoted me half that for the exact same problem.
I won’t be back to Kaiser Auto care.
