Genevieve was my cat sitter for about a year until she got so popular that she had to stop serving my area out in the remote Berkeley Hills. Needless to say Mercy and I were devastated. I’m a first time cat owner and Genevieve was my first cat sitter. She made me feel comfortable with the thought of leaving my lovely kitty for a long weekend. I got regular updates including beautiful pictures, and Mercy was calm and happy when I got home. Genevieve was a god send and I’m so sad I need to find someone new. If you can book her, I highly recommend doing it ASAP!

Stop looking for a cat sitter and book Genevieve! It’s not easy to find someone you can trust to come into your house while you’re away and take care of your cats. But Genevieve is very friendly and approachable, plus she is a true cat lover and goes above and beyond to put you at ease. She sends texts or emails with photos and updates to tell all about her hour with the cats. She feeds them, plays with them, brushes them, takes out the litter, and for one of my cats who was wearing a cone, took the time to take the cone off, apply cream, and scratch him. He is scared of people but he has warmed up to her, and the other cat loves her. She will also take out the trash or bring in the paper/​mail if you need it. Overall, no worries with Genevieve!

Genevieve is amazing with cats & a lovely person. I noticed her cat skills when she came over to meet my 2 cats, who are pretty anti social, especially with strangers. She took her time and really wanted to connect with them, so that they would remember her. We were gone for 3 weeks, which is the longest we’d ever left the kitties on their own. Asking friends to help change the litter & refill food is nice, but you can’t expect your friends to play or really connect with your pets. Genevieve surpassed my expectations. She brought them a little bed, that recently came into her possession, that would warm up when there was weight on it. The kitties loved this. Makes sense that they would need something like that since they wouldn’t be able to cozy up to us when they are cold and lonely. She also brought an arsenal of toys. When we got back I was nervous that my problem child cat would be upset with me & pee on stuff to show me how mad he was, but this never happened. They were totally happy & they also seemed more confident. Less skittish than usual. We don’t go on big trips very often, which is too bad, my kitties will miss her. I’m definitely gonna try to get Genevieve to come play with the boys, any chance we get. Thank you so much for the great care and TLC you gave Smith + Luka!

Genevieve is a wonderful local cat sitter. She was fabulous with my 2 cats while we were on vacation. My cat Orlando is very shy around strangers, but warmed up to Genevieve delightfully quickly and was even comfortable enough to have her brush him! When we returned, Orlando’s fur was luxurious and free of matted fur. We also loved receiving daily photo updates of the kitties. We highly recommend Genevieve for anyone in need of a cat sitter.

Genevieve has been my regular cat sitter since I got Kiniko last October. She is exceptionally professional and conscientious, eager to take care of your feline family member just in the way you would. The review really ought to come from the cat herself, but she sadly doesn’t know English. I can say this, however; when Genevieve comes to pick up a house key from me, Kiniko invariably recognizes her car pull up out front, scrambles to the door, and instantly relaxes by Genevieve’s feet. She has a wonderful effect on my cat, who clearly loves Genevieve’s caring attention. Thank you, Genevieve, for being a friend to my cat!

We had Genevieve take care of our two cats over the Christmas holidays, and she was the best cat sitter! She spent a lot of time with our cats, found them toys they both loved to play with, and sent us daily photo updates. One of our cats is very timid and particular about who he warms up to, and he came out to greet her (which very rarely happens). We highly recommend Kitty Karma’s wonderful services!

Kitty Karma is excellent! Genevieve is a very nice person and a fantastic cat sitter. She spent quality time with my older cat and made her feel very comfortable. I think my cat loves Genevieve as much as me! I really liked getting photos each day along with the description of what took place. Genevieve took fabulous care of my kitty while I was away on a trip. I was new to her service and am 100% thrilled! I could tell she had taken the time to play with my cat, which she really needs. Also Genevieve has attention to detail; I could tell she had taken the time to wipe down the mat in my kitty’s feeding area. Finally, any cat owner will appreciate her thoughtful follow up email with photos taken during her visit!

Disclaimer: Genevieve and I are both volunteers at the local animal shelter, so I have known her since before she started Kitty Karma. I have recently used her for cat-​visiting services and I can’t be happier. She is totally dependable and turns up when she is expected to and spends far longer with my four cats than expected. She plays with them and in case of one cat who is undergoing chemotherapy, she administers medication without any drama. I highly recommend her.

Genevieve is the best cat sitter you could possibly ask for! She is a true animal lover, and has loads of experience caring for cats and dogs. When she last took care of my four cats, she took wonderful photos of them and sent them to us while we were on vacation so we wouldn’t miss them too much. She got to know each of our four cats’ personality and gave each the special and unique type of attention that he/​she needed. Genevieve is 110% trustworthy and responsible. My cats all love her and so do we!
