It’s your typical grocery store and franchise. Overall, I was pleased with the selection for fresh produce. I was pleased to see it looking fresh, and even more impressed to see workers sorting out the bad produce on the few occasions I stopped by. The layout was somewhat difficult to get used to but understandable for someone that’s new and used to how other stores are laid out. The meat selection was a little smaller than I was expecting, but when I spoke to a employee regarding his section he was happy to help and stopped immediately to assist me. The check out went rather quickly each time, and the cashiers were always friendly.

Unlike the Arlington Kroger, Oakland still has the make your own 6-pk beer. This is what I enjoy the most as I love craft beers. Oakland is a decent size store. Nice staff.

The store has a better selection of products and is cleaner than the Arlington store. We prefer to shop here even though the Arlington store is only a couple miles from our house.

A local grocer that the employees all the way down from check out, stock boys, and butchers take time to check in with you on every visit. From the greetings, to the goodbyes, you feel like a neighbor when ever your here. My wife was in a rush one night and getting bent out is shape because the check out lady was talking while scanning the persons groceries. I calmly and lovingly reminded my wife that this is exactly why we move out of Memphis(taxes too) for a no stress slower pace of life. I love my Kroger and shop here because of the personal service and not always price. WalMart is also here in Oakland but I’m staying put at My Kroger
