Oh. My. God. This store is NOTORIOUS for buying up Uhuru’s stock (Uhuru is the thrift store on Grand Ave. less than a mile away from Loot) and then quadrupling the price! Seriously. What a scam, eh? This is the third time in the past couple of months that Loot has done this… So when you see a chic red coffee table for $ 700.00 in Loot, think twice. You’re getting ripped off, because the owner purchased it down the street for $ 80.00, and you can do the same. Uhuru is a great place. Decent prices, and it is a non-​profit.

I was at the library and saw this treasure. Had to go around the store twice to see what I missed, and still didn’t see the lovely candleholder I brought home until I was at checkout — phew! The woman (and her dog!) who was working the counter was courteous, knowledgable, and makes me want to go there again… actually tomorrow, there are a few things I forgot!

Loot is one of those stores that takes you on a treasure hunt. There are so many wonderful items waiting to be found. The store has an eclectic mix mix of small furniture items, home accessories, decorative pieces, gifts and so much more. Ron has a keen eye and finds unique pieces you will not find elsewhere. He also has a great sense of humor and that shines through in the merchandise he chooses. Go treat yourself and have a look!

Great store — something for everybody and every occasion and in every price range. The merchandise is always changing, so you have to keep poking your head in! You will not be disappointed. The displays are worth the trip — A real treasure trove of a store!

Beautiful eclectic items, interesting displays. Unusual pieces of furniture and finds. Nice people work there. Terrific addition to College Ave and Rockridge. Ron has a remarkable eye and the people who work there really nice. Been in the shop often. The truly odd review above should be pulled.

I was so excited to visit this treasure of a shop today! It was filled with an eclectic mix of unique antique, vintage, and new items that were displayed beautifully. The prices ranged from very inexpensive to more expensive, so it was easy to leave with a treasure in hand and a wishlist for next time. The shop had a warm, inviting atmosphere and I was made to feel very welcome and comfortable by the saleswoman. I’m looking forward to going back again and finding another special treasure. I left inspired to go home and pull out more of my collections and display them! The Rockridge neighborhood is so quaint, that my visit to Loot easily turned into a lovely, leisure afternoon of walking the neighborhood and visiting shops. I highly recommend a visit to Loot!
